With advancements I am near a early Rome level. My government system as come to a republic. And my programs encourage traders, especially from my country, to go out and connect to all other nations by trade. Also I have funded several voyages outside of this area to find new trading partners. Continuing with palisades to defend some of my larger cities. And currently I am proposing to Raven and the other to build a canal to the Trade/Education city to increase it more.

I think a sort of deal between our nations could be arraigned on trading missions. And yes I think these mock battles would be a great way to attract people to trade and enjoy games. Maybe something along the lines of the Olympics (of Greece) where one nation could top out their rivals.

OCC/ Currently a great number of Tal-mans are working at the fortress against the evil in the east and the leader Tal-man the hunter is overseeing the construction of defenses. Also advancement time.
Advancement one: Gulyay-Gored or as called by the Tal-mans the Tabur works as a moving wall of wood with holes for shooting out of. Allows better protection in battle, while allowing archers to fire while exposing themselves less.

YEAAAAH! With a unified roar once again a volley of fire is unleashed as the men charge the creature and make precise attacks from all directions the creature tries to fend of the attack.
With a sudden jerk of the broken wings extending out in front of it, slams into the group of Tal-mans and knocks many back besides the few hunters and fighters. Tal-man picks up one of the fallen spears and with a sift motion throws the spear into the skin of the wing, hoping to pin the beast.

OOC/ JESUS YOU POST ALOT. Lucky it has been background for the most part. First off I am trying to guess age, Stage 5 most likely, so I am going to say that now for the most part my people follow along the lines of a Russian country in dress, speaking with accent, and loyal.
First off my 2 advancements I am going to go with 1 is now a republic (named (PM) government with more trade and money flowing freely, 2nd my troops are now able to use the rifles and such while riding horse back effectively, and are called Cassocks(Calvary)

Yes it was the Tal-mans who switched religions but not all as we do not force our people one way or another so it is split on which religion is major for my people, still slightly towards Raven's people religion.

OCC: Take a break to play my new games and dang 2 years past. Also what happened to the Bloods threat did they just leave? or are we having negotiations still and might have conflict. Some new blood would be nice as well.
Interesting developments of Tal-men. Ivan's sons first Richard, and now second Joseph, were born during the break and in a few years Richard will start learning to be a politician and Joseph will go to the Creed. Ivan nephew came back from the creed training with permission to set up a school for the Creed in Tal-man lands. I new mixed form of espionage/silent movement is created from both men trained in ways of the Creed and Assassin ways taught by the other nation.
And the people themselves have a minor golden age of expanding and settling new lands to bring the Tal-man way to the barbarians of the world.

OOC: I will be getting Payday 2 in the future right now 4/6 on AC rouge, Last mission on Shadow of Mordor, and will start on the Killzone Triliogy soon. Then Payday 2. Also no idea how to help with furthering story so will cause problems in own nation.
Peaceful demonstration turn to riots in several major cities in Tal-man lands. 45 dead, 100+ wounded, and many shops and such looted in process. Tal-man Peace Force (national guard) deployed to cities to keep the peace. Riots are now decreasing in area but increased activity in the Capitol and 2 other major cities. New wave of spies is sent out by Tal-man in all known nations. No hostile actions are to be taken yet but as preventive measures against any would be attacks.

OOC I always thought of Key-ron not exactly like that but that is closes also I am now going to have the Tal-man break into an open civil war for some reason I have yet to decided on factions who will be in it. I was thinking of a communist and a fascist pair of factions who are battling among each other and the Loyalist faction who support the republic.
By the way this is not the capital of Tal-man lands, Minsk (like mist but with a K to the end) But a large trading border city of Ruski. The PM is doing his rounds of speeches in various towns, as a way in hopes of stopping the riots.
After a hour of deliberating with his council of advisers Ivan has Gudram called back to his regional office. " I thank you for offering your assistance with military support. But I do not believe it will come to that. Thank you for support in this time of crisis." As we started to lead the way out of the Palace, as the regional houses are called, but as they are walking a loud series of explosions are heard from outside. "I say that does not sound good." Before several Rifle men run up to the pair. "Sir we must get you out of the city, it is a full blown war beginning in the streets." As we look out one of the windows of the Palace it is clear to see a large bronze statue of a Cossack being pulled over with lots of ropes as gun fire can be heard in the distance.

OOC: Far North West of territory is almost lost to rebel forces unknown by main forces now. IC: Serious amounts of refugees moving towards East border territory to where less fighting is occurring. Peace Core is in battle formations now.

That is the city which is split in half for control. It is sort of like Berlin with the German fighting for every city block and civilians are trapped in the fighting. Like what is happening with ISIS I imagin to the south is you is you and the East is Parabunnies at least in my head.

After the initial skirmishes all but 2 major cities are loyal to Tal-man while the largest portion is in the east in the feilds in villages and smaller towns. Sort of like ISIS smaller but gaining a slight more momentum as time goes on.

An agreement has been made between the Tal-man Fascist and Loyalist. The country will remain united but the land will now be divided into new states some of which lean to Fascist policies and most to Republic. PM Ivan is now on his way to the Jousting grounds to welcome the new people from the islands.

The time used by the Raiders to take minor forts, villages and cities. The Tal-Man have hugely improved the defenses of Fort Krell, Keiv and Rinsk. (think Civ 4 where it tells you the % bonus to defense. My best ever was a 105%) And a strait line could be drawn across all three settlements.
Huge amounts of money are put to increased arms making. Now all possible warriors are called upon (even though most were recruited before the Raiders began to look to the Tal-Man and just about every man not in required industry are in a branch of the Tal-Man Defense Core.
A newly built ship (almost a caravel but not) named the Wind Walker. Is sent to the Islands(sorry can not remember names) with an ambassador who is given two missions 1. Set up an embassy in the Islands. 2. Work out any deal possible for their assistance.
Posters are spread through Parabunny land. Offering Action, Adventure, and Reward, to any that would assist in the destruction of the evil raiders. See your local TMC (Tal-Man Military Corp) for official regulations of applying. Is posted in an effort to recruit those who would for any reason would assist us.
And women are taking roles of nurses in military and some manufacturing jobs.

The ships in Skadia quickly trade out the weapons they own and fill the hulls with a varity of the goods offered in the trade(To see which are most profitable in Tal-Man lands) and promise the local traders and promise the Prince to return with more goods as often as possible for them. The sailors will take a few days resting in Skadia before the ships will start to return to Tal-Man Lands. Wealth of both nations will soon start to increase.
Advancement time! First one in a few pages LOL. The goods being change far out weigh what most individual merchants could afford. So Tal-Man merchants form the first corporation. Dmitriy and Associates Trading Company. (named after Dmitriy as he is the largest investor) New ships and sailors we be flooding out of Tal-Man Ports.

His first son, Peter, is currently working to become a statesman has his father. Whether it will be as PM or as a counselor he is ready to serve his country. Currently he is favorite to follow his father after his term is up.

Weakness: Dense Forest, Desert, Mountains.
Religion: No Official Religion, people allowed to follow others, most to the Osmar religion some to The Way.
Primary Focus: Trade.
Secondary: Military
The Tal-Man people are closely related to our Russians. Sharing names, ideas, clothing style and such of Russian origin. They are much less cruel in terms of leadership then real Russia but the people are still extremely tough, but kind unless in battle. More focused on trade, money, and the collection of resources they only have been at war with the Bloods. I new war might be on the horizon. Falling behind in the Race of Exploration soon Tal-Man ships shall be sent around Blood territory to go West, or first make land fall in Skidia (sorry true) nation then head east.

The two medium size ships (for Tal-Man size) left the port city Rinsk several months ago. They had been sailing for and where on the eve of turning back when the saw a small island, maybe even a chain. "Captain!" a call went down from the Tower. "What is it man?!" Charles ,the captain, replied. "Island or islands sir off the Port bow. Looks like something we should check out.and per contract they would investigate, find anything of value, and the see any possibility of colonization then return to port. Well then, time to make land fall. Charles thought to himself. "Take us in lets make land fall and make money boys!"
The ship found a harbor on the largest island in which they could make landfall drop the row boats and land on the shore. Lowering a total of 4 boats they moved into the harbor and landed on the shore. Shortly after making landfall they began searching across the beach head and scouring the nearby area they came to the conclusion. It appeared that someone or something else lived here, at least recently.
((I am going to say Raven is up to speak at the Coral Tower.
Side note can our species breed. I think one of the possible choices such as Civic for the Caldari would be a side species who were taller than regular Parics, but shorter than regular Tal-Man and stronger than Parics. But would have some reptile fetures from the Parics))

Turning back the savages the Captain put his hands up in a mix of defense and a sign of peace. He looked at the creatures, besides being smaller then him they had what almost appeared to be claws instead of nails. They we also only armed with what looked like only wooden clubs. But of course the nails worried him more, he just hoped they were intelligent.
Speaking in a monotone slow voice he began to step closer. "Hello, my name, is Charles. We come in peace." Gesturing to his men behind him they moved their rifles into a safe position, no longer pointing at the savages. "We are explores, we search for land and resources,"
Gesturing to the area around him. "for our people to collect and use. We did not expect to find another people, yourselves, here." Somewhat nervously he looked across the gathering of people. "Do you have a leader... And more importantly do you understand what I am saying?"

A startling CRACK was heard by the Artugians and then with out a word the man fell to the ground. Dead. The Tal-Man quickly began to reload the rifle.
"Now you see, your still more valuable alive, but my men like to live, so if you do not come quietly we will have to repeat the process." The captain spoke while he slowly backed up to his men.
Without a word the enraged Artugians charge down the hill screaming in almost a wild animal craze. As the close the distance the Tal-Man hold their fire, until the Artugians are just a few steps from melee distance.

The Tal-Man fire, but miss on purpose, shooting over the heads of the Natives. The normal sound of gun fire to the Tal-Man the sound of the very heavens splitting open to the Artugians.
In the few moments the Artugians are stunned the Tal-Man force makes their move. Some dropping their guns and others using them engage in melee combat.
One of the Artugians who was still charging into the wall of Tal-Man was quickly meet by a rifle butt and an armored fist to the face, knocking the man to the ground, he was down for the count.
As one Tal-Man fired a woman jumped him, even with his strength and height advantage she knocked over the giant, and slashed across his face with her claws several times before a nearby soldier gave her to quick hits to her head with is rifle butt.

As quickly as it started most of the Artugians lay on the ground, soon to be in chains. Several of the members had tried to flee back into the forest but quickly tackled and shackled by the sailors.
All had been captured except for one or two that might have been able to escape. The Artugians were quickly being loaded into the row boats, luckily they had a room for the cargo to be stored on the main ships.
"Good work lads, check to see if you can find their leader... John was what he said his name was." It was a good day, only 2 had major injuries, and 2 others had been scratched up by females. The captain began to search for John

The sailors had loaded the captives into the ship and cells without much more trouble, they were very well beaten. After a final count it seemed that the leader. According to the accounts of one of the men a solid punch to the jaw and then a stomp to the shin had probably broken it.
After that in the confusion he had been able to retreat, they gave a good fight and refused to retreat to save him... "First rounds on me boys once we get back to port!" Charles said with a smile, the promise seemed to lift the spirits of the crew. Heck I might even be able to retire after this paycheck he thought to himself. It was unlikely that they would find any savages who were still alive or could make the journey back to the main land, but still, something bothered him about the Paric and his men.

The captain said with a laugh, the shamed sailor slid back a bit while the rest of the men joined in the captains laugh. "So Cap'n wat you doing with your share?" One of the men asked. "Me?... I have had enough of sailing... I am going to buy a track of land and start a large farming operation... Maybe buy several of these same people we transporting right now. If not retirement for sure. I am rich enough for it." The captain said with a chuckle.

The three Tal-Man ships sailed into port and where happily welcomed by the population. Charles turned to his first mate. "Have the Men begin to ready the slaves for departure from the ships and then wait for my return, I must talk with the Pan-Tal-Man office of the city."
Charles entered into the large Pan-Tal-Man Corporate Center, greeted by two Corporate Guards, both standing with rifles, Dragon Skin Gloves, and a silver sash from right shoulder to left hip. "I am here to speak with the Center Head." Charles said before he continued into the large building. As he looked around he noticed several interesting paintings, some dating back to the Wars Against the Unknown, several more depicting recent victories against the Bloods. The thought brought a smile to his face.
Giving a small salute to the middle age Center Head, Charles began to give his report. "I am Captain Charles of the 2nd Expedition Group." Charles stated in a monotone voice. "Ah... One moment please..." A nearby assistant came up to the man he whispered something to her and she headed for filing, a bit later when she came back he thanked and dismissed her. "You had quite the journey..." The man said while reading the file, you weren't do back for another month... Unless you found something good... I imagine you did?" the Center Head asked. A slight pang of worry in his voice. The 1st Expedition Group had lost one ship to a storm and the other one had returned severely damaged, it would have hurt the company more for another failure at exploration, and surly put them behind Osmar further. "Sir we will need some accountants, and I do believe you will want to come see this yourself." The excitement obvious in his voice.
Now the small entourage of Pan-Tal-Man employees worked their way through the street. "What did you find so valuable to warrant you return?" The Center Head asked, even through his calm he gave just a bit away of his excitement as well. Charles looked up to the deck of one of the ships and called to his first mate. "Bring out the cargo man!" "Aye, aye cap'n." The response came, and soon they began to unload. The expression of the Center Head was changed to a face of pure horror. "Slaves!" He exclaimed, he proceeded to lower his voice, hoping to avoid a scene. "We can' t deal in slaves, who ever they are, are sure to bring hell down on us from wherever they are fr-..." He paused... He had seen Parics, Osmar, Bloods... Never a Mur, but other captains gave good enough description to know these were not Mur. "You discovered a new race... And proceed to enslave them?!" Still keeping a hushed tone.
He stroked the facile hair on his face and thought to himself... "They wouldn't be protected by any law... No country could opposes us except moral matters... And that has no effect... You are a smart sailor Charles. Okay, you two" He pointed to two of the employees. "Get to marking them all, down, now you say that they speak similar language... Find a name, give them a number... We need to take stock." "Watch out for the claws." Charles interjected before the men began their work.
Two lines, one made of females the other of males marched on the dock. Chains linked every man's cuff to the cuff of the man in front of him. Everyone's name was taken then given a number, the number engraved on the new neck shackles they received. Females starting F-0001, males M-0001. No resistance was given, no force was really used. By the end of the day they were being loaded onto prisoner carts for transport to the country side. To begin work on a Pan-Tal-Man Farm. Along with the production of more workers. This would put the Corporation in the Black for years to come. "Stay in the city, you and your men will receive their payment soon enough." The Center Head stated without another word, headed back to his home. And Charles began to dream about his future.

I also know of the unrest in Tal-Man I will end this as well, we shall make this world a safer place, to grow the economic interest of Tal-Man, and grow relationships with our neighbors..."

He found his pair of Dragon Skin Gloves and slid them over his hands.
Bullets the thin but strong leather should stop most of it, melee... He chuckled to himself, he was ready. Poison, he could count on his body to resist it, he hoped. He then made his way out of his mansion and onto the some what quiet streets of Archangel. Body guards stationed around the meeting building, disguised in normal wear were ready in case of attack, if the trap was to fast they would have no time to react.
He entered into the busy tavern, song, dancing, and laughter filled the halls. He made his way straight to the bar keeper. A large, jagged scare ran down the left side of his face. Guys I just relized I never stated how tall the Tal-Man were. I said giants in the begging but I did not give height, also they just look exactly like enlarged humans so I have no idea what a good level of height is eight to ten feet anywhere in the realm of realism?
But otherwise the Tal-Man appear the same as humans. Usually in white, with the normal blue and green through brown eye color, blond to black hair color. They are based off of the Russian style of dress, talk, and friendliness.

With a small smile he turned his attention back to the artists and the models as the drawings began.
The slaves moved into the farm area with relative ease and a few new systems had been in placed to fine the most effective way of making the slaves work the hards with the lowest amount of lost assets or lost production capabilities.

The first a Driver was selected from a group of 25, his job is to see that a set quote is met per day, if it is unmet a random number collating to amount unmet of the members are beaten but he is will never be beaten, but must watch everyone be beaten. A second group made of 25, with one selected Driver. If his group fails to met the quote then he is beaten while the other 24 are forced to watch all their failings fall on to him.
The third made up of the remain 20+ are slightly healed and elderly they are given a Driver, with a slightly lower quote, if unmet any or all could suffer beatings for the failure. This will be used as control group.

"What ever you call them servants or lowborn or any name you give them. The Tal-Man discovered an entire race of them. Small brute, barbarian, like creatures with skin so pale it appears death is on their face and hair red as a fresh wound. Now I believe in a generation or two it would be possible to begin their trade. You are the closet thing Mur have to a Leader and as such you would Okay or reject the proposal. Grey prepared the story of the capture of the Ants. "Explorers from the Pan-Tal-Man, the PTM, were exploring of the coast of Southern Tal-Man. The came across a chain of islands and began exploring several of them. On one these we were soon greeted after landing to near 100 men and women armed with spear, clubs, maybe even stones. They outnumbered the land crew by a huge number, luckily the crew was well armed and put an end to the attack.
These people are hidous creatures, pale in the face, hair possibly stained red with the bodies of others. A truly grizzly sight to see, the women it seemed had poison on their finger tips as they slashed one man and not moments after the battle he dropped dead. We took them aboard as it seemed most were starving and were cannibalistic... That is how we came about to find these people." Grey stopped speaking for a moment and drank close to the last of his wine, he preferred vodka but this was easier on not so common drinkers.
"I must say you have a beautiful city here I wish to set up a residence, such as your people did back in Osmar. As a means to allow quicker communication between our two nations. It was quite a joyous occasion in Skadia today, apparently an expedition ship was returning to port, he figured he had no business to attend to and would possibly greet the sailors. Her hair glowed like a beautiful fire which would never hurt you, just hold you in its warmth and protect you. Her skin was that of a golden glow as well. She looked as if she was sent by the ancestors and god. He slowly continued to walk backwards before he found an alley way and made his way quickly back to his home.

I am writing to you on behalf of the Tal-Man State, I am sorry I was not able to visit personally the War needs me. As I am sure you are aware of the current situation developing with the rampaging Cauti forces. Besides the Private Defense Force, the majority of my population is unexcited to go to war, we have had our first peace talks with Blood Raiders, leading to the possibility of true peace. I would prefer the Paric Civil War stay in its own boarders but it has not and we are forced to join this war in response. This presents itself as a problem to me, the Tal-Man must refuse to lose our southern most boarder. Most of my forces are a day or so away from our front -lines by the time you read this.
Now to business, you are famed for ships and while the Tal-Man have our own ships yours are in greater speed, size, and capacity. I propose a joint ops between our two people, using your ships and any men you wish to send, and the few Tal-Man vessels I can scrape together and as many men with fit on the boats we send them around the continent, a few weeks before the front-line ground troops with make their advance, pulling Cauti troops from the front and allowing us to cripple the rebels. We will retake our land (and maybe a little more in compensation) and we shall allow to take your own cut or return it to the Parics.
I hope for your response soon majesty. I fear what may come to past if the war is dragged on for long.

Yuri sat behind the large, even for a Tal-Man, desk. His finger interlaced as he quietly thought about his nations next move. And who would prove to be the threat to them. His mind first thought of the slaves, not so much a slave rebellion but of their people as a whole. But they were on a continent away, unknown by any but the Parics and Mur. The Parics... They had such a long and peaceful history this one act had almost had the Parics declaring war.
Hell, it felt if they did. The leader who was going to put the world under his thumb and he just happens to disappear. This had World Class Assassin all over it, he would make the Parics pay for their treachery. Maybe as his troops marched on the capital of the Cauti he would start knocking on the door of the Parics.
The Blood Raiders, the group of savages who only thing stopping them from total rampage was the Mighty Tal-Man Army holding the line all these years. These brave men were being moved to a new front, and a new opening to the Bloods War machine was opened. IF he could direct them at the Parics and Cauti he would have a much easier way of dealing with them both.
A new Age was coming in this world... And Yuri knew that he would be the one to lead Tal-Man and the rest of the world into it...

One Month after the Assassination of Stalin... Archangel, Capital of Tal-Man
Yuri sat at his desk and pondered what was the next move in Stalin's Assassination. Only a small number of groups would have been able to even hope to accomplish the task. It was all to obvious to the Emergency PM. The Creed. The secret guild of Assassins Parics who is father had let enter quite a few years ago. Now it was time to put an end to the grip they had on Tal-Man, Nothing but total destruction and removal of the Creed would satisfy Yuri.
His cousin Dmitry. also head of the Creed in Tal-Man was called in later that day. "Cousin, you know the unfortunate event that occurred to the late Stalin, correct?" Yuri asked in a plain voice. "Quite the tragedy I would say, a shame, a natural born leader cut down before his time." Anger was growing inside of him as the conversation went on. Yuri suddenly stood up"Cut it Dmitry!" He was just below shouting. "I know it was you and the Creed that carried out the hit on Stalin. It was a mistake for my father to ever allow them in our country." Yuri slouched back into his chair. "I can assure you sir that if it was the Creed, I was no way involved. I would have gone to Stalin first, you know that as well as I do." Dmitry gave a pleading look, Yuri did not believe he was untruthful, at the same time that was also his job. "Fair enough cousin. Prove your loyalty to Tal-Man. Anyone you do not personally trust in the Creed needs removed. Get any and all valuable information out of them before no one ever hears of them again." Dmitry grabbed the brim of his hat and spun on his heels. "It will be done, Prime Minister." As he walked without another word.
Under the cover of darkness Dmitry, flanked by two men each side, walked quickly down the side of the street. The soon came to an unassuming, squat rectangle building with the name The Way Ward, a middle class bar. Location of the Creed HQ in the Tal-Man capital. Dmitry walked up to the bartender. "What can I-" The question died in his throat as he realized who this was. "You know the way." Pointing back to the smallest of the back rooms. Entering quickly into the and going down the ladder to the secret HQ.
The room was filled with members of the Creed. "Now is the time to decide" Yuri shouted over the different conversations, his hands outsteched "are you loyal to Tal-Man, or the Creed, now is the time to make your decision." Yuri let his hands fall back to his side. From somewhere in the crowd, "You Traitor!" A dagger suddenly was sailing across the room, in Yuri's direction. Yuri skillfully spun the dagger between his fingers before launching the dagger with same force back at the Paric. The sides were quickly drawn most Tal-Man immanently started attacking the few Osmar, Parics, and Traitor Tal-Men. Quickly he sprinted into the a group before they could draw their blades.
Yuri's right gauntlet quickly connected to the first Paric's side of his head, sending the poor figure recoiling back, stunned. Looking over his left shoulder he could see an Osmar. He swung his left fist back into the gut of Osmar, his fist hit the iron plate and more shook the Osmar just a bit. As the Osmar regained his bearings a quick series of three punches assaulted his unarmored head, before a quick knee to the face dropped him. Another Tal-Man raised his fist armored in the same leather, gauntlets, and other equipment as Yuri. They both raised their fist and the world seemed to freeze for just a moment.
With a right jab the other giant was aiming for his head. With his open right palm he shoved the oncoming fist high and left of his head. Yuri quickly countered with a low left jab into the man's gut, but seemed to have little effect. We Tal-Man are a pain to take down Yuri quickly thought to himself. Shifting his weight Yuri quickly charged at his opponent, tackling him, Yuri started a blizzard of blows on the man below him. The man under the assault moved his arms and with two swift motions had slammed his hands on both sides of Yuri's head and thrown the Master off. Yuri stood up the anger had gotten angry now. He jumped at the other man, who was ready for the first hit but not the second, the third, or any of the others Yuri had lost count. As he regained control and stood up the small skirmish was already over.
Wiping the blood from his face he talked to one of the cloaked figures who accompanied him. "Get all the traitors into the dungeon, I will deal with them later. Keep regular reports going to other safe house. Recall all men we can, rest we will have to hunt down individually." "Yes sir." The cloaked figure replied.

Pan-Tal-Man farm, several months after the arrival of the slaves.
Soon after their arrival in Tal-Man ports, they were moved further inland, luckily before the series of revolts that occurred in that area. They moved north to the more rich farm lands of the Kiev area.
After arriving at the Plantation they were under watch of both other slaves and the overseers. The amount that the farm received was not able to do much more than 1/2 of the small farm, but the owners had a easy and ready solution to producing more of them.
After several days of examine the herd, it was figured which of the women who were ready, or about to be, and to match with the best of the male specimen. One girl they received, Mira, was still several months away from being in peak physical condition for reproduction. Now most of the Tal-Man found no interest with the slave race, most others that worked near them found them straight out repulsive. But as always there was at least one who would go against common reasoning. His names was *Deleted From Record*.
After one particularly hard day of work for the slaves, they were on their way back to the slave quarters. That was the moment when *Deleted* called over Mira, she was unfortunate enough to have distracted his eye for to long. With a quick, sad, glace
back to the other slaves as they marched on ward. They wished to offer help, but nothing they could offer would be met with beatings and more suffering for the group. So Mira answered the call.
He lead her to one of the barns on the large plantation grounds, ordering her in and toward a bale of crops. As she neared she heard her come up behind her, she attempted to swing around both claws aimed at the face of the man. He expected hit. With a single gloved hand he caught both hands of the girl, and then they were to the ground, and she was pinned, defenseless, helpless,... Perfect.
The screams that night could be heard all the way to the slave quarters. Any Tal-Man who heard it figured she deserved it, or did not want to see the act. When he was finished he dragged her by the arm to the slave quarters, her clothes ripped, stains of dirt and crops patched the slave garb.

Several months after The Event.
Mira belly was that of a melon as she walked, so large as if it would burst on its own accord. Her work slowed to almost none what so ever, but the other slaves covered for her and the overseers pretended not to notice her slowing progress.
Then the fateful day came of the birth, two children, one female, one male. The boy named Roland, and the girl named Hannah. Both were soon confiscated by the Pan-Tal-Man they were much larger than any other Ant, newborn, and still smaller than a Tal-Man Newborn. A new hybrid had been born.
Shortly after the father's position at that company for misuse of company assets. The children were about to be set for adoption but were snatched up by a mid-ranking Pan-Tal-Man official with only two children of his own.
Company policy now forbids the owner ship of any creature that claims relation ship to that of Tal-Man.

Ruslan returned from the frontlines of the battle and requested a meeting with his superiors, until then he had the time to himself, he ordered the Fishlegs under guard of some of the regular who had not been in the fortress assault that day.
With time to spare he counted out the casualties from the assault. None captured, several still missing (blown to bit most likely), handful or so more dead, but many more wounded. Thinking back to it, he wished he could have gotten up the walls faster, luckily the Cautie forces splintered under the well organized Tal-Man force.
Ruslan spent several hours thinking back on the battle while cleaning his favorite rifle, washing off the blood from his Dragon Skin Gloves, then re-oiling, he knew he was going to catch hell for retreating but he felt this was worth it. He was then able to get his meeting with the minor General.
Brigadier General, Trovski arrived at the camp, "What do you need to show me so badly but was not able to come back to HQ for, something big enough abandon the siege?" Asked Trovski, obviously upset. "This is the reason I had to retreat sir." Leading the General to the area in which Mur were held. As he turned to Trovski he saw not a look of happiness upon his but of disgust.
"You imbecile!" Trovski screamed and slammed his Dragon Scale armored hand into Ruslan face, "Those are Mur!" Ruslan was sent back, not to the ground, or spinning, but enough to send him back, a sting of shame and anger burning to his face. "Capturing prisoners of the enemy is okay... Releasing captives of the Cautie is okay... Taking prisoners of nations we are in good relations with, you will be lucky if this does not end your career." At this the guards around the Mur stopped and assumed an at attention stance. Trovski approached the leader of the Mur, gestured to the regulars "Release them." The regulars went to work. Troviski picked up the Mur leader and removed his restraints.
"I wish to apologize on behalf of the Tal-Man nation. This fool of a Tal was not sure if you were of enemy or friend. I would be happy if you would care to join me in my tent for dinner, we could speak over this incidence." Trovski offered his hand to the Mur.

Trovski smiled a little bit at the Mur's "General Brigadier" stifling a chuckle. He then stopped as the Mur mentioned Kalimat. After the Mur finished "You must join me for a meal now, so much you can share about your recent adventures." Trovski turned around to Rulan. "I apologize for my reaction without knowing, I was hoping to end anymore bloodshed on this field. You have much potential and I would hate to see it wasted." It was quite obvious when Rulan sat up a little straighter at the complement. "But fail me on the next assault, and KP will be the least of you worries." Trovski meant it both as a joke and a threat, and Rulan understood that. But he was feeling a bit better.
"I can have any wounded treated at Tal-Man medical tents, and I shall be waiting near by for the next couple of hours. When your leader awakens have one of my men find me"

Brigadier General Trovski had been talking with another Tal when he heard Shuri'den as she entered and started to speak, so he turned around to face her. "Any help of this kind is welcome to the the Tal-Man cause, I only wish that my men could have sparred you from the attack, but so is the price of war... I trust all your men are well?... Anyways it is a delight to meet you, as from what Tal-Man can tell you are the highest rank and of greatest respect in Skida, and I should be showing you an even greater amount of respect. We are going to be keeping this siege till they surrender or we attack again and take it. So you and your people are welcomed in the camp as long or as short as need be for, that is as long as they don't cause trouble."
He gave a smile, both for the idea of another race making an even effective disturbance and what could they do of that magnitude. "Until your leave I shall invite you for dinner in my personal table. Just slightly better food than that of standard wartime meals, and the delicious beverage of the Tal-Man that I hope the Ambassador has shared with you."

Brigadier General Trovoski and the other few other Tal who sat with him greeted Shuri'den and the two Mur who she had brought along, though he did not care one way or the other on the extra guest. He noticed the slightly less formal cloths the Mur were wearing, he figured it was a more informal anyway, considering the circumstance.
"I glad you are able to join me and a few of my staff for the meal, I hope the food your people are receiving is up to a good standard. It is hard to get a constant supply of materials when you are preparing a two front war. But we make do with what we can. Now before we begin our courses, I must ask, will you and your people be returning to the Fortress and or Cauti territory? Because if you do you will be guaranteed safety to the boarder, but no more after that. You may not be as lucky the second time."

The General sat at the table and listened to the Mur's request. "I will be unable to provide you with an exact list of who all perished, for military reasons as well as we don't know all who died and possibly just missing. But I will give you the most complete list I can. But for now, I encourage you to accept the best food and drink I can offer."
The meats and vegetables brought before the group were not the finest in all of Tal. Slightly better than though you would find at a well off tavern, but a welcomed change to the officers of the regular meals offered in war time. The General enjoyed the meal greatly as to be respectful to his guest. Later in the evening he noticed the Mur coming towards him.
She came to him and informed him of no need for protection. "I understand for your request, we might end up bringing more harm than good as it would make you a Cauti target." The General replied, "Thank you for your understanding General Brigadier."
On the mention of slaves Trovoski ashed just a second before returning to his normal color. "Well if you heard of them then it needs not be a secret." He took a deep breath. "In the camp we attempt to keep no slaves besides the ones we capture and even then just a little time to keep from becoming a target to liberate. Also with all Ants owned just by the PTM It would take a day or two. But I promise it would be worth the wait."
He took a large gulp from his fine wine before continuing to speak
" I can have a rider sent as soon as you give me an idea on number and type and such. If you are unwilling to wait I have a few Osmar, Parics, and Bloods that would be willing to join you. We Tals enjoy you Mur, you are not for war but for trade much like us, unfortunately we are dragged in by those who would see us ended. But our people, we think alike."
With this he recline back into his chair.

Trovoski called over a messenger and told him of what he required. He had no doubt that the PTM would have no trouble filling his request. He returned his attention to the party sharing dinner around him.
"Ah yes. Ambassador Grey, I don't know of him personally but he is definitely a respected Tal, trusted as well. As our first and primary way of communication with your people. Please give him my regards for what he has done for us here, for us Shorewalkers."
Trovoski leaned in a bit closer to the Mur. "The Osmar, for along time now, are trusted friends of ours. But they seem to grow ever closer to the Parics. And those... Lizards do not deserve to be trusted. Proceed with caution when dealing with them."
He backed away and his cheerfulness returned to him. "It is unfortunate that you will not have a chance to meet our current leader, Yuri, I am sure he would love the chance to show you the same kindness as Grey reported you did during the Coral Tower meeting."
He felt a better feeling hanging in the air. The many months they spent on this siege had warn the men down. And the failure of the recent attack had not helped, but the arrival of the Mur had brightened the mood of the whole camp. He heard a Mur nearby take up a favorite tune among the men of glory and honor, and as if a fire on the wheat fields it spread through the whole camp.
The Tals knew how to throw a party, and this could have easily been concluded as if the war had been won already. "It appears your people are a great boon to our nation even when you offer just your friendship.... The slaves will arrive some time after tomorrow. I am sure dinner then would work fine, and of course Ruslan would be glad to join us."

General Trovoski sat and was studying the strategy for the upcoming month of combat. This fort was taking an unusual amount of time. He planned to offer a surrender that would allow 1/10 the garrison to return home. He figured it was a risk, but honorable for a group who had survived so long under the cannon fire.
The rest of the meeting droned on, and most was his own tactics at use so he had little need of attention. He sat back, knowing the Mur had made it out of the front-lines. Which made him happy, as well as his superiors all the more open to his next advancement in rank.
But he also had worry that the slaves would be set free, and become another ally of the Cauti seeking war against the Tal-Men. But keeping high relations and to a greater extent trade open with the Mur was the only concern, hopefully Grey was doing his job, as well as I have been doing mine, thought Trovoski.
He thought back, when he was still fighting the last Blood War. He rose through the ranks in between the time of them and the Cauti revolt. If the Osmar would declare war, he figured the monsters of the Bloods would rise once again to seek war with the world. Idiot Parics, he thought. Did they not realize Tal-Man was the only barrier that could hold back the Bloods.
Guess this is why he was not a politician...

Several weeks prior to next part
General Trovoski had ordered the use of Cossack units to close the last supply line to the fortress, as it was the last bubble in a full front offensive. All along other points in the line the open line battles between well trained and disciplined Tal Troops repeated wiped away by either surrender or death, entire Cauti militia units of the various Osmar, Parics, Bloods, and the odd Tal. Here was the strongest point in the Cauti defense, and here a victory was required, as why he was ordered to the front-lines. And now he had grown tired of this field, and he would it end it in the month.
Soon the raids from Cossack units reduced recieved supplies of the fort to every other week or greater, with a usual 15-20 prisoners as a bonus from the raiding of the stretched supply lines, a few weeks, and along with the offensive and losses by raiding, the Cauti would no longer be able to afford the transport of supplies to it. And the fort would fall.
Outside Walls of the Fortress
Three Tals walked ever closer towards the stone defensive structure waving the banner of parley. The middle one with the message for the fort commander that he had memorized at least forward and back 3 times now. He reread it to himself in his mind.
"From the General. I admire your capabilities of defensive war Cauti. But yet no advantage you have now can save you from defeat here in the next month. But due to my willingness to give an honorable opponent the chance, I offer you these terms. Surrender 9/10ths of the garrison, and you and your 1/10 will be allowed to leave this fortress unharmed anymore than what you have suffered currently. The gap is closing commander, and if not for yourself then for your men, they will not die in glorious battle, or to be captured and live. If we so choose you will simply sit in your fort and starve, and then we can claim it, with no greater loss to ourselves. Cossack forces are tightening the noose on your supply line everyday, it is only a matter of days if not a week to close it completely. And then you and your men will face a humiliating surrender, or starvation. The choice of course, is yours."
Now lets just hope this Cauti won't shoot him before he arrives.
