The silence of one of the peaceful courtyards in the Osmari capital city is shatter by a high pitched avian piping and a sudden rush of feathers as a vast shaped descended upon the open garden. The massive Great-Ocean Hawk landed on one of the wooden balustrades tearing into the wood with several inch long talons causing more than a few mild cries for the city guards. Amongst the Isle the Great-Ocean Hawks were the largest of the birds, bearing a wingspan of some 3 metres and were fiercely territorial of the ordinarily unscalable shards of basalt rock that jutted up in the southern oceans of the archipelago.
Those present were taken aback, and despite having seen such creatures before in Errecist, even Thane tumbled back out of his seat in shock, kicking over the table at which he sat and scattering the many book and scraps of parchment he had been reading. A moment later he got up, approached the bird keeping his eyes down, and drew from the small cannister around its leg a small note. He read the noticed carefully surprised at the contents, very much so aware of the eyes of a rapidly assembling crowd of civilians and city officer on him.
"Ummmm. You wouldn't mind watching him would you?" He said sheepishly to a very perplexed city guardsman after reading the message and packing away the books and parchment he had kicked over. "He won't hurt anyone....shouldn't at least. But it would be best to keep any dogs or cats inside for the time being."
"You stay here too Sieg. Don't eat anyone's animals okay."
With that he rapidly departed for the castle, located Eofor's clerk, and organised an appointment for when the Chancellor was free.

After much war in the Blood territory peace comes, but at a price. The southern side becomes an independent nation by the name of Urantia. The northern territory is renamed 'Lilevia' and is controlled by the Tyran.
Urantia and The Parabunny Territories begin speaking in private, and a friendship of sorts grows between Galtan and Primus Acta.

In the Sy'thal Isles......
The first trade ships from the Tal-Man territories arrive in Skadia and a welcomed by the local people, especially in Myhriyah and Rhistvalla. The Prince, now returned to his lands, offers the traders a generous sum in material wealth for the weapons ranging from fabrics, to minerals, and trade goods from the wildlife around the Isles and awaits their acceptance.
He also promises to send trade ships on the monthly basis to the Tal-Man harbours if such is their wish with other goods.
In the Harbours of Rhen-Ys a number of merchant sailors are preparing to sail South with the tides on the order of the Princess who in Martyn's absence taken to rule the country in her husband's stead.
Meanwhile in Osmar
Thane sits patiently awaiting the Chancellor.

Ivan has a envoy of ambassadors to Urantia to both arrange formal agreements of peace and of hopes of open trade.
(We will need a new map to update this. If you need I can re-list the name of my major cities)
The ships in Skadia quickly trade out the weapons they own and fill the hulls with a varity of the goods offered in the trade(To see which are most profitable in Tal-Man lands) and promise the local traders and promise the Prince to return with more goods as often as possible for them. The sailors will take a few days resting in Skadia before the ships will start to return to Tal-Man Lands. Wealth of both nations will soon start to increase.
Advancement time! First one in a few pages LOL. The goods being change far out weigh what most individual merchants could afford. So Tal-Man merchants form the first corporation. Dmitriy and Associates Trading Company. (named after Dmitriy as he is the largest investor) New ships and sailors we be flooding out of Tal-Man Ports.

Advancement: Now that a trade agreement has been established with the Tal-Man for trade of Cannon and Musket the Skadii have the means to field a small, inexperienced, but conventional military force. Study of the Tal-Man designs is underway in Myhriyah to attempt to replicate the technology but will take some time to complete.

(( Sorry the last one was so brief and this took so long. ))
After some time the Clerk put down his quill, stood up and rolled up the parchment. "I shan't be long sir" he said before leaving.
Eofor and the lords of Braedon and Saxfeld are discussing their situation in the lesser hall.
"It was a blatant attack! Men bearing the Saxfeld coat of arms raided my storehouses." "Nonsense, this is clearly some fabricated nonsense, no doubt to justify a retaliation." "Please, calm down and let us wait. Some water perhaps to cool your tempers?" "Yes, very well" replied the pair in unison.
As Eofor handed the drinks, the clerk entered "Sire, as you requested" "Thank you, gentlemen, a treaty. I'm sure you can see it to be mutually beneficial." "I find these terms...agreeable." "As do I"
As they were signing the clerk whispered to Eofor about Thane "I must leave you gentlemen, I leave you in the hands of my clerk."
As Eofor made his way to Thane, he noticed the bareness of the wall and made a note to commission a tapestry. Reaching Thane, he greets him "Good day Thane, what was it you wished to discuss?"

(( Osmar I'd say would be Late explortion era while begining to enter Enlightenment. So people are starting to think more freely, maybe even become upset at the idea of hereditary overlords. ))
Advancement: With the renewed interest in discovering the world, it became evident that Carracks left something to be desired. They were too small for the distances demanded of them, unable to carry sufficient supplies. Osmar ship builders began building soemthing new, bigger. The Galleon as it had become known, was the first ship built with the express purpose of ferrying men for leagues across the ocean. It was expected that future endeavours would utilise these greatly.
Godwin's expedition, day 35 "Land ho Captain!" Those words resonated all across the ship. The crew were delighted that their painstakingly long voyage had yielded results. Godwin had picked up a spyglass to see for himself "Hah, so it is. Ease in the ship and drop a boat lads, I'm going ashore." The crew turned the ship into the wind and came to a stop before dropping a boat. Godwin left with a few crew members, each bringing an axe with them. "Alright men, let's start exploring."

In Osmar.......
Thane continues to sit patiently until the Chancellor has seen to his meeting with the nobles, mulling over the contents of letter from his Prince clasped tightly in his hands.
With the meeting complete the Clerk gestures for the Skadii envoy to enter. Thane does so bowing to the chancellor, and presents himself before the older man.
" Greetings Chancellor Eofor" he announced "I, of the Two Rivers, have received word from the Prince and the Summit. It seems that the negotiations have dissolved to be reconvened in Errecist after the Festival of Kalya."
He cleared his throat.
"This however is not why I have come before you Lord Chancellor. Under the authority of my Prince I have been named vassal and official foreign envoy to your lands, with all the rights and responsibilities that the role entails....as such. I would like to enquire into my own personal rights as a foreign dignitary in your nation.....and the potential of buying property in your cities....."
In Skadia......
The Harbour Master and Sephrena [previously named Mila] continue to entertain the Parabunny travellers, hosting them in the Trade House Apartments where they are free to move throughout the southern harbourscapes of Rhen-Ys as they will. Dammel has spent much time talking with Yoi as the foreigner would grant him and took a liking to the "Kami Blood".
Sephrena found herself spending more time around the serpent-like foreigners, and despite not feeling comfortable around them, enjoyed the change of pace spending more time on the harbourscapes as a guide, messenger, and ship-hand, than as clerk.
Until......
She spies a foreign ship on the horizon, neither one of the Parabunnies, nor of the Osmar which she has been told be returning sailors great sea-faring vessels. She watches as barges set sail from half a dozen districts, all competing for the right to host the guests, smiling with satisfaction as her own districts vessels cut through the water ahead to reach the boat first. Brought into harbour she offers her respects to its captain and with Dammel surveys the good brought into harbour. Contained within massive crates are a a foreign series of metal tubes mounted upon wooden stocks, a number of heavy sealed casks, and massive engraved steel barrels with weighted hunks of iron.
"What in Kalya's name are these?" She asked, hefting one out of a crate cradling the heavy rifle awkwardly tapping the wooden stock against the side of a cannon. Similar examples of the instruments appeared all over the ship, below the decks, and in the hands of several sailors.
"Put it down Phrena" the harbour master muttered disapprovingly. "These are marked for the Royal Warehouses, they are not our business."
"C'mon Dammel.... what are they? Some kind of metal bow or something?" She asked, reaching into the barrel of one of the cannons tracing contours the wrought metal. She glanced down at one of the cannon balls with a curious expression " Um..... so what? This..... fires...... one of those things? Gotta be a weapon right!...But what are we doing carting them to the Royal Warehouses?"
The Harbour Master sighed in a defeated manner. The girl was too sharp for her own good, and more to the point right. These were weapon that far exceeded anything he'd ever seen in his forty years as a merchant sailor. He felt the beginnings of a migraine coming on but pushed on organising his crew to transport the goods, all the while wishing he had thought to bring a small vial of the "Kami Blood" Yoi had given him.

The Harbour Master had just seen to the payment of the Tal-Man when Yoi found him upon the docks, looking out across the harbour scape as a wall of thick cloud raves towards them, thunder rumbling within its vastness, and flashes of lightning on the far horizon. He turned to face the serpentlike man, nodd as the warning was relayed to him. Sephrena had taken over leading the carts to the Royal Warehouses some twenty minutes prior, demanding that the workmen carrying the heavily laden carts, packed with iron cannon and rifles keep up with her youthful pace.
He frowned, rubbing at his temples nervously. "These bloody storms don't normally manifest at this time of year" he explained to Yoi absently ambling slowly back towards a warm light being emitted from the Trade Hall. Even now the native Skadii worked with reknewed purpose boarding up the ocean facing windows and securing cargo in safe locations.
"They seem to be drawing out......getting more violent and more starting later in the season and growing more frequent with each passing year you see. This one is particularly disturbing so close to the festival of Kalya. Worry not Yoi you and yours are welcome here as long as you see fit to stay, as are the Tal-Man" he announced loudly passing several of the sailors. "Tell your Captain, you will not want to wait this out on board your ships. I'll have some of my men come and help you bind the ship properly so it does not overturn in the storm."
They nodded, continued about their business.
"Well Yoi..... how about some more of that Kami Blood while we wait this one out?"
