(( Okay this will sound like me being an ass and that's the point..... how can you skip over important talks between all nations without resolution....that's just plain bad story telling. SOMEONE of the two needs to make a decision if war will happen or not and just roll with it. Skipping weeks on ahead without warning leaves the rest of us basically scabbling understand the general direction of the RP))

Before the skip...
Noticing the indecision of of the other leaders, the Queen has a a ceasefire written up quickly by a Squire. It stipulates that neither nation may approach within a kilometre of the border for a period of two months, after which the Skadian festival would be finished and the leaders will have time to return to their countries. It is presented and the signatures of the Tyran and Prime minister.

"I believe this meeting has fulfilled its role and with that I shall take my leave. I look forward to your festival prince" said the Queen as she curtseyed, then leaving with her company of soldiers. Upon arrival back at the castle, Eofor suggested that an extra advisor be appointed, as he felt he did not possess the administrative skill that was asked of him when +åschild left for the meeting of leaders. Following this advice the Queen appointed Athelric, a minor noble who had dealt greatly in trade goods, and gave him a new title as Steward of the city. He would be responsible for representing the Queen to the people, as well as management of construction, taxes, trade and other income of the realm.
The positions of Marshall, Steward, Chancellor and High Seer have become collectively known as a form of 'Council' of advisors to the monarchy.

"Then if the negotiations are to be concluded at a later date I, and the representatives of Skadia big you fare well. Prime Minister Ivan perhaps you would walk with me for a moment if you care to."
With that he strode out onto the docks looking out over the water as his own clipper sailed into view.

The recent arrival of the Skadian and Solsunti people spurred a huge reaction in Osmarium. Ambitious merchants began attempts to fund expeditions with hopes of finding new and strange lands. Most believed it was the next logical step, they had few chances of gaining land on the continent, so they look elsewhere with expectations of being granted the land they discover. Some of which even petitioned the Queen in an attempt to her as a sponsor.
One of these aspiring men was Godwin, a wealthy trader who fervently believed the most prosperous land lay west. He was kneeling down before the Queen and advisors. +åschild looked at his proposed route on the maps he provided. "What makes you so certain you can find land along this route?" "Ocean currents your majesty, as the western stream leaves something causes it to return. I firmly believe that cause to be land."
The Chancellor spoke up next "How long would you expect this journey to last?" "It's very difficult to say, possibly in excess of a month each way." This statement stunned all that listened. The man that stood before them was willing to go out into open ocean to a place no one has been to discover something that may never have been there.
Next to question him was the Marshall "How any ships would you require for this voyage?" "Four Carracks sire. They're the only ones I see durable enough and large enough to sustain a voyage of this magnitude."
'Four Carracks' thought +åschild, four of the largest ships the Osmar have created. This man had guts. Further questions and discussions took place abut supplies and crew, after which the Queen and her advisors convened. After some time they reached a conclusion and +åschild gave their answer. "Very well Godwin. You shall have what you need for your expedition. Any land you discover will be the property of the crown if not otherwise occupied, and I shall decide what will be done with it. Go now, I shall have the arrangements made and will inform you further"
Godwin grinned and as he left thanked the Queen "I am eternally grateful your majesty, you'll not regret this"

With that the Prince steps aboard the Clipper and makes ready to depart. Upon the deck stands a man, his arm covered with thick leather bindings upon which perched a Great-Sea Hawk. The Prince hastily scribbles down a note.
" Thane
I ask you to stay with the Landborn a while longer, the festival shall be the site of our next summit. I must have a vassal present in their lands to foster relations. Enclosed is a personal seal of House Dontherys as well as authority for you to use it in the bartering of commodities from the main lands. And should you find that you are in need of the armaments we shall be happy to find something that we will be willing to trade for."
Ivan stood for a short time and waited as Thane boarded the clipper and received a message that he could not hear. He figured out of respect he would wait until the clipper was out of the harbor before he would leave. He was already looking forward to showing the counsel the new trading partners he had hoped in gaining from the group. Quietly whispering to himself. "For being at war... I can still turn a profit..." Not to bad of a week.
