Just refered to as: Tal-Man Lands
Tal-mans
Stage:5.3ish?
Type: Farmers/Traders
Other: Very tall as a people (under 6 ft is unusual) Industrious people
Government: Republic System, State headed by Prime Minister.
Forces: The Peace Core, most of the infantry of the Tal-man Forces. The Tal-Man Trading Defense Union, consist of all ships in service to the state, along with private ships. Tal-Man MU, The Tal-man Mobile Unit, consist of the best of the best rifle shooters on horse back, can be accurate at quite some distance at a full gallop.
OOC: Unremarkable in fantastic features. I would imagine more strength would come with the increased height. Also just redoing this from a while back. Also with the different characteristics of our people could a Tal-Man and Parabunny cross?

(( Nation details following. Some may have changed from previous times.
Noun: Osmarium. Adjective: Osmar
Tech: 5-ish. Standard muskets are flintlocks, Rifles are imported from the Tal-men.
Type of people: Militaristic, both land and sea.
Current Government: Feudal Monarchy.
Forces: Osmar military philosophy tends to follow a "bigger/heavier is better" view, and no where is this more evident than their Shipbuilding.
Forces: Osmar soldiers are divided into three main categories. The crowns personal retinue are professional soldiers in full time service. Unlanded knights most often serve in this category. Levies are composed of semi professional soldiers tied to a holding. They often work the land but are well trained, though not as well as the retinue. Town garrisons, or Guardsmen, are the third category. These soldiers are tasked with keeping order and defending in the event of a siege. Vassals to the crown are obligated to provide a minimum of two thirds of their levy during wartime.
Other: Pale skinned humans, females tend to be shorter than males, who stand at a maximum of 6ft. Osmar are shorter lived than those around them.
IC post to follow ))

(( Assuming you let me Retcon the plot of the Skadii here is where is stands.
Months have passed since mysterious messages have been relayed to the varied leaderships of the continental powers indicating to them that a people known as the Mur of Skadia have for some time been living in a small archipelago land mass to the South and after many years of isolationism have come forward with the intent to live alongside the other peoples of the world. In order to do this they have invited the continental leaders to Skadia for the Festival of Kalya.
Weeks later messengers from the Mur, a pale skinned, amorphous, and generally speaking unclothed [Mur neither need them or believe in them] people arrive in the cities on thin graceful looking ships.
Yoi arrives in Skadia with the Parabunny crew and meets Dammel and Sephrena as normal with all plots the same. Kalm [formerly Thane] remains in Osmarium as an Ambassador and spends his days lounging around in any water features the castle might have.
[Exactly like normal...]
At the Summit the Mur helped the other nations defuse the situation with the War and asked to reconvene in the Isles after the festival. Their representative Ma'Tyrn [not prince] makes a deal with Prime Minister Ivan for Rifles and Cannon to study.
Storm Occurs in Skadia.
Current events.
That or.....
I have a High-storm cause chain tsunamis in Skadia killing all of the people and introduce the Mur as the successors of the Isles.
Sorry for the confusion guys but this kind of RP is too good to pass up.))

Thane continues to sit patiently until the Chancellor has seen to his meeting with the nobles, mulling over the contents of letter from his Prince clasped tightly in his hands.
With the meeting complete the Clerk gestures for the Skadii envoy to enter. Thane does so bowing to the chancellor, and presents himself before the older man.
" Greetings Chancellor Eofor" he announced "I, of the Two Rivers, have received word from the Prince and the Summit. It seems that the negotiations have dissolved to be reconvened in Errecist after the Festival of Kalya."
He cleared his throat.
"This however is not why I have come before you Lord Chancellor. Under the authority of my Prince I have been named vassal and official foreign envoy to your lands, with all the rights and responsibilities that the role entails....as such. I would like to enquire into my own personal rights as a foreign dignitary in your nation.....and the potential of buying property in your cities....."
"That is good to hear. It will be essential to have someone who can represent Skadian interests here. As to your rights, you would be permitted to attend court and give your opinions on any political issues. No doubt you'd be consulted heavily on matters that would affect your people.
As for property, I believe there is a modest house available near the market, alternatively you could purchase land and construct a manor upon it. Of course there would be extra costs of lumber, stone and men to build it. While more expensive and time consuming, the Manor would much more fitting to a man of your status."

In fact having recently type out the biology of the Mur I'd ended up determining that all sex organs were internal to the body only ever presenting themselves during times of procreation.
That being said I like to think the first works between the Osmarii and the Mur that were recorded in a diplomatic sense was "You smelled like a prospective mate....my apologies"... start at 6:23.

(( Bugger ))
As Godwin and his companions begin to explore this strange new land they hear a loud rumble from behind them. They're greeted with the sight of a huge creature attacking the ship they arrived on. The crew on board attempt to fight back with cannon fire and though they do manage to hit and injure the creature the surprise of the attack was too much to overcome. Some more of the crew managed to abandon the ship in time to escape the beasts clutches.
The survivors numbered 28 in total, who all stared in disbelief at the wreckage, absorbing what had just happened. Godwin however managed to keep his composure. "Don't just stand there, pick your jaws up off the ground and fish out as much cargo as you can!" With that, they all moved into action and scoured the shoreline for whatever they could. Godwin came across two flintlock muskets and brought them further inwards to inspect them. 'Little bit wet on the outside...inside seems clean on the pair of them. They'll come in handy.'
After some time the men finish up and bring the last of the crates to the pile that had been created. Godwin requested each of the to tell them what they found. "Two crates of gunpowder and a crate of bullets sire. Powder managed to stay dry." "A few crates of grain, some of it is a little damp but edible." "Ten axes and a pile of cloth." "A crate of lemons" "Lastly, a fairly large pile of driftwood. What now sire?"
Godwin pondered a moment before responding. "We're stuck here. Set up camp. Driftwood is too damp to use in a fire, you four grab an axe each and gather some firewood. The rest use the driftwood to make shelters and the cloth for bedrolls. We'll explore further inland in the morning."

The Kais: Kais are small, armoured shites, they will not only hunt down any survivor they see, they travel in packs.
You can see why 'Welcome to Hell' was in one of my posts.))
Raul is captain of the 'Caileye', a ship sailing in unmarked waters, when one of his crew spots something horrifying, a larger beast attacking a ship.
"I'd rather die here than turn tail while there might still be survivors. Tell everyone below deck to get their asses up here with any firearm they can find." Raul ordered.
"Y-yes sire." The crewman followed orders.

"Damned insects, ate the rowboat." Raul looks around to see a serpent coiling back and draws his blade. The serpent launched itself at Raul, but was killed when Raul flicked his blade and severed the head of the serpent. "Hello? Hello!" Raul called out hoping to find some survivors.
