With the release of Codex, I suggest that the NDA be done away with, regardless of the state the game is in. A casual search of YouTube reveals a great deal of beta gameplay videos, and undoubtedly there are many Dust players answering questions about Dust on gaming forums across the Internet. As banning that many people would be a ridiculous thing to do, it is clear that the only sensible path forward is for the NDA to be done away with.

The First rule about Dust is not talking about Dust. It worked as a marketing strategy for Fight Club, but Dust is not a Movie featuring Edward Norton and Brad Pitt. I really think that it would be a good idea to get the word out. Public domain info is scarce. So unless thats the plan, more dev blogs and videos please! The community will do it without you and the amount of time that has gone into the official promo materials so far, it would be a shame to mess this up.

You have to be at least able to say that you are in the beta.

Youtube videos still aren't allowed. @ Barrabus : Free speech rights only apply to government. IE: They can't make laws to say that you can't speak your mind. In pretty much any social or organized group or company that runs a EULA or ToS, It's in there that you are agreeing that you can't just say whatever you want to whoever you want. Free speech doesn't apply to that. This protects users from harassment and such. When you agree to an NDA, you aren't violating or giving up your rights. You're just agreeing not to talk about something.

That's not losing free speech- NDA is a voluntary agreement between two parties. That said, the NDA is probably not necessary anymore, but there are some obligations on CCP to get to a quality product before the masses "see" it.
