Still I find it better than the RR... I'm a very picky person when it comes to weapons... Just sign this petition so we can have a long range rifle instead of a gas dispenser.

Something needs to be done about both Rail Rifles... they seem so subpar now...
It's either Combat Rifle or Breach Assault Rifle in PC.

Honestly with RR i dont care anymore.
I cared before and i still thing its precision rifle classing with "kick-like-mule" balance was the best.
Now the RR is death and its community is still not gratefull (even it is their work, with whole that QQ before).
Im out about any RR threads now, their screw it (not CCP, the RR community) and they should live with that.

I leave the RR die.

I may be reading that wrong, but it kinda pissed me off.
I for one only once (Brief pause due to DeJa Vu) every complained that the kick was too much, I said something along the lines of 'If the RR is as bad as I've heard I'll just stop using it.' then I used, saw 0 difference. I was using it at it's optimal range, rarely CQC (Okay, twice on 10 armour enemies) and then... I get on the forums to a lot of people QQing about kick, which is when I defended the kick as useful in the right hands, that and it needed no changes. *Changed* I try to use it, useless. How many people use it? 1 or 2 out of 100 if that?
I'm going to just say one thing: I will get the RR changed back to a long range weapon, or they will take my ability to post on the forums. (I'm a determined son of a b*tch, yes I am) Once there is some way to get the old kick back I'll shut up, until then I will request change to the RR. A bonus to a Caldari suit? ok. A Caldari racial bonus? I would welcome it. Leave the RR in a grave? An idea of pure evil!
We could fix the RR, or we could break all other dropsuits and weapons so that they look up to the RR. Personally I want the RR balanced, as I want everything balanced. I've tried several times to create threads to try to help devs in the area of balancing, all derailed or ignored.

It did have a few months in the spotlight, yes, but it was balanced for a week.

You skilled out of it? I'm still lvl 5 as I have been since they added it.
I am skilling into other weapons now. and I'm going to get someone to fix it.

Proto RR is still murderous Raven, I'm getting some big numbers with that thing and it makes a change to switch into it every so often instead of it being the only choice.
I have no issue with the RR as it currently is. But then I had no issues when it was massively OP either - so consider this petition signed!

I use it, extremely hard to hit a target with 2 bullets on this automatic weapon before the target goes into cover. It's still useful in 2 situations
1, no cover, wide open range, 60 m+, and you get the drop on your enemy
2, little cover, within 10m.
the whole 'prefire' sh*t is annoying, You can 'pre fire' but if they are still in cover you've just given your position away.

CCP should "re-do" all back on "kick-like-mule" CQC state.
In that time RR was proper precision rifle (how it was meant, because its stupid to do CQC in something behaving like auto sniper rifle).
This is my last statement about RR (like it or not, from this post i really dont care about RR because stupid QQs just destroyed finally balanced weapon).

I was not one of them. Where are they now? ACR, AScR, AR, and BrAR. That's where, not with the RR anymore.

But, really, I'd like to see some updated post-hotfix data on the light weapons with respect to K/S and distance (and game mode) before speaking out too strongly on what should or should not be done with the RR. |
