Not using a cloak on a Scout is like not using a SCR/LR on an Amarr Assault, or not using Knives on a Min Scout, because then it becomes EEEEEEEZZZZZZZ mode!

tbh cloaks were bad, since the introduction of cloaks the amount of scouts had increased like 4 fold (original number x2 then x2 then x2 then x2)
and only way to combat scouts was more scouts because active scanners had become crap.. the active scanner changes came too late.. and having focused scanner limited to squad only was just because of CCPs favoured child (SCOUTS) being whiney B****es and QQing like hell to have it changed

Make it easier to see a running invis scout cuz when they go invis they shimmer for a bit and then completely go invis right infront of me. All traces are lost even when they run in front of me on a open field. Kinda to much of a disadvantage even if they are light on armor n shields.
Starter Fit Suits are OP :-)

A little experience fitting the scout and playing around with it will tell you why some people think they are superior for not using the cloak. If you get scanned, a red chevron appears over your head (opposed to simply on radar) so the cloak has no use if you aren't dampening as well. But to dampen means removing an armor plate for tank scouts which is the current meta for try hards.
