I chose galente and I despise them I would much more prefer to be amarr they are superior on every way there suits are better so are their weapons and I would FINALY be able to get that exotic dancing minna tar slave girl I've always wanted and the swanky Mq who do I poke to make this happen? |

Sadly you can't, but you are not restricted to use our suits or weapons, and you can change the suit you wear in the MQ. You can also send ina ticket to move your quarters to Amarr Space, just ask nicely. :)

Your race can't be changed once you click the create character button... but don't let that get you down.
Nothings stopping you from being Amarr on the inside. Want to use Amarr stuff? Train it! Want to be Amarr? Well, you can't change the way you were born, but that doesn't mean you have to be loyal to the Federation. All four of the empires have people of all races living in their borders. There are proud members of the Caldari state who are ethnically Gallente, Caldari who have moved to the Minmatar republic for economic opportunities and become citizens, even Minmatar who have for one reason or another adopted the Amarrian religion and willingly live in their borders.
So you're a Gallente who converted to the Amarrian religion and are now a loyal fighter for the Empire. Or maybe you were born and raised in the empire by gallente immigrants. Maybe you found out you have an extended family relationship with an Amarrian Holder due to a scandalous rendezvous between your great gallentean grandmother and some amarr preist a century ago, and you just had to check out what the whole owning huge plots of land and slaves deal was like. Maybe you said the wrong things to the wrong guys and now you're hiding out in the Amarr Empire until the heat dies down, and somewhere along the line you became a Mercenary. Who knows?
Just have fun, and don't let your race and bloodline stop you from enjoying new eden.

in that case just go ahead and delete your character and start over |

I like the Amarr... and I like my Amarr quarters... but I would like Gallent Starter fits.

Don't do it, I am matari through and through but we have the most drab and depressing quarters of all the races, it looks like part of one if those apartment buildings I see in documentaries of American gangs were derelicts live and sell crack. I would stay put, unless you need more crack of course.

Still trying to figure out why the new proto suits are Visual Customization
Over 60+ Million SP and full proto in all Caldari Suits. No matter how hard CCP tries Dust just won't die on PS3/Xbox.

No. There is no reason why a Minmatar Clone cannot learn to use a Scrambler Rifle equally well if not better than an Amarrian can when using the exact same gear and fitting options, or consequently why say a Amarrian could not master the use of a Gallentean vehicle.

I must agree with True. Changing your race makes no sense and is a bad sign for an IP (the New Eden IP) which had been really big on making sure everything makes sense in lore.
A better solution would be to give the people what they really want. Allow us to freely change our stations. Allow us to choose from at least 12 portraits (one of each racial frame size) and have it displayed on login, in game, and in the forums. But no changing race and bloodline.

You Amarr don't believe in miraculous transformations? You are all unics correct? The Gallentes got their junk surgically moved to their foreheads, and the mini's haven't figured out what it is yet.
