Did anyone notice that we reduced the variant Rifle cost down to normal prototype ISK?
My favorite, the Square to take you to battle, I have so many times thought I was waiting for battle, later finding out I hadn't press "find" in Public Contracts
Sniper trails, I think I noticed them for longer in a few battles, but it's a very subtle effect
Im super happy about the variant's price drop. It makes the use of these is more isk effective.

1. Well small increments would be useful but also is it tied to the vehicles speed? 1a. When i go fast infantry will render only when im on top of them but if im slower then they may show up earlier, problem is they see me anyways no matter what distance 1b. Possibly instead of rendering the actual infantry what about a short term solution like rendering the red arrow above them instead or is that tied to ewar? |

Reason for this is what CCP said "To give newer players an little edge against Veterans" & this i do agree with this. I'm a vet, i've played Dust since close beta & my friend recently played DUST before U1.9 & he told me
"it's very hard to succeed against veterans"
& i tell him
"I know, it's kinda hard for me as well as it's more of a stalemate fight when i go against them"
I mean DUST has to try and bring out a matchmaking feature to match players up by K/D, Score, Skill Points or something, because how can beginners enjoy the game without getting pulverized by Proto Vets???

Just to reiterate: The sprint bug is not fixed. On average, I die because of it at least once or twice a match. I play a low-HP, ewar focused scout and pretty much depend on hit-and-run tactics and evasive maneuvers. Being stuck at walking pace when I wanted to sprint is not fun, as I die in a small fraction of a second's fire from any weapon. |
