When you go to Variations it only shows the items in the same tier. CCP holds the Caldari's hand so this doesn't happen again.

See here: https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=2438624#post2438624 So We're allowing Respecs everywhere, BPOs are starting to flood the Game once again, ISK is easier to come by and the game is Saturated with SP. Sounds similar to the last time we got a respec. This game is truly a Beta for Legion which I'm suspecting is coming out a lot sooner than we think. Everything is being toyed with in DUST so they can get it right in Legion. CCP holds the Caldari's hand so this doesn't happen again.

My guess is you buy this customization BPO and you can apply it to as many proto suits as you want. you still have to buy the suits and they're still disposable but the skin is a permanent purchase that you can just keep re-painting your proto suits when you buy them more info on the EVE version is HERE Never argue with an idiot. they bring you down to their level and beat you through experience proud C-II bpo owner
