Is it a Good Update?
To me it's Meh Okay, it didn't blow me away as i thought it would, LoL the Hype was real.

But really, it's a bit too early to tell.
I'm liking the new sockets/map and I like the changes to the existing ones too.
And the bug in payouts is nice too. lol Enjoy it while it lasts. |

It's overall good but dust is still missing something to me....... The look sensitivity has very little room for small adjustment so I often find myself over passing my opponent. Manual scramblers still blow..3 shots including a charge, really? And you only can really fire 13-14 shots that will probably miss anyway......idk, it's still not enough to avert my eyes from destiny

A good update, I wish they were able to sneak in more items to the LP store
They really are listening to the community on a lot of things.
....and I love how the RR is back to normal. ( I know it's only a matter of time before a certain gallente someone sabotages our rifle again) |

keep the isk payout as it is now. second I like the update, on some maps I am actually running around like I'm on fire for fear of scouts hiding in dark corners, you know what map I am talking about. I love the new update and yes it has some issues but again its day 1.
Can the other voices in other peoples minds hear my voices in my head????

Man , those maps .. those maps , I was flying around trying to scope things out but on the ground I was running around confused , they have a lot of open space and that's what I like , it feels like a actual battle because now you have more landscape interaction and it feels like your actually marching and with the new backdrops and environments , it's nice .
A good change and now I don't have to worry about map burnout because there new and more random .
Even with the tweaks to the old maps , it's really a change for the better .
All they need to do now is address the fixes and everything can start rolling .
I was getting paid like a champ to until people start running their mouths .
Dam   .
Thank you Rattati , the DEV crew and the CPM for getting the job of 1.9 done .

Partially failed.
Scouts still aren't changed to act like scouts.
Native armour repair was removed again for no logical reason.
At least loyalty ranks will make this less of a grindfest + sell useless things et cetera.
Sifting through all my fits to add in an armour repper as they are all now marginally less efficient.
Can't use my calscout anymore because of its butchered skill bonus + lack of native armour would make me need to sacrifice dampeners and I don't have my dampening skill at max so this would screw me. |

Last balance changes were apparently overwritten with the deployment, we will get that fixed pretty quickly.

I'm a bit surprised CCP is not all sang and dance about this.
We get an update with a lot of things people have been asking about for god knows how long and a dev blog with a couple of pictures is all we get?
Give us a tour of the new sockets for clacks sake. i had a firefight in one of them tonight ( the one with the cranes has windows you can shoot down from ) and had an absolute blast, why they not advertise what they make is beyond me.
Some poor artist worked his ********* off to produce a floaty tingy in the sky ( looks Amarr? ) yet who is going to tell us what the hell it is...
Except for mister Rattatattattai nobody is really selling this game to the people that are left or taking a first look.

Played a match today. Just got off of work and I jumped in a match.
I was all cheese!!
The game looks smoother, more refined. I don't know how to describe, but it looked alot less blocky and harsh. The color tones were softer.
After getting adjusted, it started feeling good (as far as my gameplay).
Let me tell you, I'm definitely coming back. Getting a new controller (bye bye good ol trusty controller, we must part ways though) and I must get back down with Dust.
