Plasma cannon is a niche weapon. 4/5 the AI specific weapon will win against it. And those who wield the plasma cannon against infantry tend to be a very risk/reward weapon with a very steady aim. Mass driver can lob rounds down range and are labeled not as AV but a mix of the two. I would prefer if the BMD did more damage to vehicles. But not all of them. sci-fi has numbed The word plasma. It's 1-3 billion*F superheated ionized gas that behaves like a floating liquid.

I've fired my entire cylinder at a DS, and it didn't care at all. Currently, it works well to soften a DS for someone who is using real AV, but fails to even deter vehicles. PSA: Tell players to terminate in order to access mCRUs.
