Yup. I'm doing another one of these. I haven't checked the singularity server yet but if someone feels like beating me to it they're more than welcome. Here's the stuff I pulled on Tranquility (live server).
As always, remember the Magic Crystal Ball: "Allows you to see into the future, albeit rather murkily. Warning: Side-effects may include speculation, jumping to conclusions, overanalysis, misunderstandings, unwarranted assumptions, endless discussions, baseless concerns, undue panic, virtual stampedes, threadnaughts, premature pod ejection and unneeded stress. USE WITH CAUTION."

I wish they would work as fast on adding in-game content as they do adding AUR costing BPO's.

After all, every race, class, and creed as the right to look smashing in purple. (Besides if I get True a full line of Amarr Quafe suits on the market maybe he'll finally put in a good word for me with his Empress ).
I've never heard the name "defender suits" before, and the only "frontline suits" I've heard of are starter fits, but it does make one go hummm does it not?
As to flux proximity explosives... I can confirm (not really) that they are new stealth tech which will trigger when any hostile deployed item is within their AoE

My first thought was AUR but I wonder if those defender suits and sentinel suits are being built / tested for Legion. |

Strangely coloring something purple, throwing on a dash of green, and changing a database entry takes "slightly" less Dev time than building, balancing and bug testing entirely new content
So, while it is true that we see more Quafe suits than new game modes for example, the related work loads are vastly dissimilar and we could have very suit in stunning Quafe purple with less Dev time from one Dev than the man hours put in by a whole team for the other.
Just, you know, to apply proper context an' all

Kick ass. The Defender/Frontline special editions are pre-fitted stuff, so maybe it'll be an event reward or something. Also note the Type-II moniker... Really interested to see what those come out looking like as far as fittings.

Every new guy creating a new character will receive 5 copies of the medium and 5 of the heavy Type-IIs for free to see why upgrading your suit is good.
Alternatively, you may also purchase them in the Market under Fitted Dropsuits for 99 AUR. |

On my Academy alt, I've noticed you get the Defender suit pre-fitted given to you. 5 copies. Is fitted with a 'Golem' Heavy Machine Gun.
I recognize the Frontline one too. Whether I've seen it there or not I don't know. The rest are unknown aside from the Quafes.

It's been what, a year and a half since we had the Type-II suit? Eliminated when Chromosome ended and Uprising began.
I may be missing something, but I'm pretty sure that I didn't call for a tank nerf before Uprising 1.7. - Atiim

These are simply "Type-II's" that are standard level. 5 of both the Frontline II and Defender II suits are given to new mercenaries and/or can be purchased for 99 AUR.
And yes, I just basically said exactly what Joel II already said.
As for Flux Proxies, they have been in the game's code for a VERY long time. I'm going to see if I can dredge up some old pics I capped when I was on SiSi (I think it was 2 years ago)....

The Mk II Defender and Frontline were announced in the Hotfix Delta Devblog, and are aimed at helping New Players understand the difference between a pretty good fit (that runs out - to explain that bit too) versus the infinite Miltia Starter Suits. If you remember, I also polled the community for help on fitting them properly per faction. So far, they are pretty solid and provide New players approximately a 100% bonus to KDR versus the Militia fits.

They are not too bad and offer new players an opportunity to use heavies and other weapons which is cool. I saw a lot of people using them the last time I was checking out the new academy features.

They should get more every X amount of war points they earn, similar to the recruitment system. |
