EXPLANATION:
Sidearms and sidearm damage modifiers: Only race to have side arm damage mods in the LP store (unless I am mistaken?) make it SHOW and make it count. No one does it better than the minmatar scout, making use of stealth and confusion weapons. The combat rifle is nice, but you cannot fire a combat rifle without giving away your location (hit direction indicator). However a flaylock pistol (already in the LP store) adds tremendous value to the minja's stealth by scattering and confusing clumps of enemies without giving away his position, especially if he has higher ground. The flaylock is also IDEAL and clearing out equipment, something high up on the minja's priority list. Lastly, both nova knives and flaylock will benefit from the sidearm damage mods.
AV Grenade: Versatility is king for minmatar, this scout is always ready to finish off that escaping madrugar. These should also be added to the minmatar LP store (if not already, do not remember off hand).
Ferroscale Armor Plates: Should be added to minmatar LP store (if they don't have them already). They are the less-than-efficient dual tankers with speed and ferroscale is right up their alley.
Only 4 "out of LP store" items, and two of them are mandatory minja modules (Nova Knive and Cloak). I argue against any codebreakers because while I do run codebreakers on my minmatar scout, the "theme" of the suit is that they already have that ability built-in, so that they can focus on other things. The republic would not put a codebreaker on a suit they painstakingly built with a codebreaker already inside.
Different train of thought:
Rattati, can you also consider better than basic modules for these suits? or must they remain ultra-accessible? With advanced or proto modules, I'd change the above fitting completely. |

Make 'Standing' Count
I would like to also propose 'Post level 5' Modules that could have a minimum standing requirement (7 or more, depending on module) to be bought. These items cannot be sold to any but the most dedicated mercs who lend themselves to their factions.
I have no well thought-out examples but for argument's sake:
Complex Cyber Biotic Upgrade, low slot
35 CPU, 20 PG
Increases Sprint speed by 10% and Stamina pool/regeneration by 60%
Requires Biotics 5, Kinetic Catalyzation 5 and Cardiac Regulation 5
Cost 100 Minmatar LP, minimum standing level 7 required. |
