My question is why would anyone be on the Destiny forums?
The game has no content or even a political background that necessitates or encourages conversation regarding it.
I'm curious if Mavado is actually trying to do anything on that game, or if he plans on giving up after 2 months like every other game because it doesn't **** rainbows like he imagines a worthy game must do. |

That's debatable.
Content was there, some content still is......... it's just nowhere to be found in the game.....and since Destiny caters to the casual gamer as a primary audience, an audience not interested in having to dig deep for scraps of content, it really came out poorly.
Grimoire cards indicate there are supposed to be political alignments here and there in the Consensus........ but again....this just doesn't come across in the game.

Edit: On a real note though even though you not suppose to talk about games in beta if it is a great game everyone hears about it not from pr, but from the players. If it is a **** game you get a ton of pr and then they dish out free coasters to all the streamers with a few fans and being the failtards they are eat it up and give a good review(yea it is hard to go wrong with a game you didn't pay for).
It really should not have been a surprise to anyone I mean unless you are a complete moron I mean blizzard and bungie games quality have been **** for years.
I am not going to go into all the fail **** blizzard has done... ******* unicorns! ... if you are/were a player you know what the did to wow and bungie games have been going down hill since halo 2.
It is like the elder scrolls if anyone thought teso was going to be anything, but a money grab must have been blind to the degradation of the series since daggerfall. 3 was amazing and is still prolly my fav. but the simplification of combat mechanics was just lazy and there was a much steeper failure after 3.
Companies hit it big with a title then the name becomes worth more than their games I feel the next victim of this as much as it pains me to say it is going to be from software. I love their games been playing since I fell in love with kings field demon souls was the reason I bought a ps3, but I don't have much hope from what I read about there up coming title with simplified mechanics that is a more action oriented rehashing of dark souls I mean the combat was already gamebreakingly loose in ds2.

When I'm talking politics I'm talking about actual player interaction, not lore. Politics denotes a player driven competitive end-game. No such thing exists, because it was a complete afterthought. |

I still think its valid to compare the two. Show the two Games to your granny. She probably couldnt even see any difference at all. Some structural differences have to be weighed in I agree, but there is no categorical difference I would accept.
