Is there anyone actually left that runs a blaster main and hunts tanks with it?
Besides me..
..soma/sica tankers who hop out at 20% armor do not qualify..

No. Most blaster tankers are no talent kd padding scrubs that farm infantry and run to the red line the second an enemy tank or AV shoots them.

That's odd. my WP puts me in a category with people who have over 30k more kills than I do.
So many hulls stamped its like a coat of paint

My go-to choice of tank: Triple-repped Maddy (basic, 300hp/s) with an Ion Cannon and dual basic scanners. When I squad up, I operate as a mobile scanning platform for my squad to help them push/defend objectives. If I'm running solo, I'll use the scanners to get the drop on unsuspecting tanks. Pay close attention for any missile tanks in the killfeed and rails are more of a concern after Delta, but I still won't hesitate to take advantage of getting the drop on another tank.
My Gunnis are all kept in reserve for dedicated tank v. tank, and I have one with each type of proto large turret.

I may be missing something, but I'm pretty sure that I didn't call for a tank nerf before Uprising 1.7. - Atiim

Last I checked, infantry usually doesn't run to the safety of the redline whenever they almost die.
Take cover/hide? Sure, that is reasonable. Run to the redline? Yeah, that's a *****-ass move. |

Regardless of class, anyone who runs to the redline when things get tough are pussies. Tanks are known to do this much more often than anyone else. Props to the tankers that don't though. Good on you for either sticking it out or just finding a building to recover behind. |

Not counting Assault Scouts of course but they don't run away, they just circle strafe to avoid bullets.

Running away =/= Running to the redline
People that run to the other side of the map, regardless of class, are smart. People that run to the redline, regardless of class, are pussies. |

People that run to the redline, regardless of class, are pussies. It's entirely a double standard. Tanks running away is lame and should be shunned, but scouts running away is just fine.
It's infantry's fault anyway. Successfully having tanks nerfed many times, as well as having AV buffed. You really expect us to stop moving and get blown up when we take damage?

And where, pray tell, can a tank hide? Redline is usually the only place we can, for the simple fact that AV cannot get there, just like my tank cannot get into that building your hiding in.
