How is my point of view not clear to you? Like seriously, all I want is a little range increase so we can try and help the middle of the battlefield, instead having to be in the center of the battlefield just to be able to snipe anyone. I really don't know how much more information I need to put, since it's not a huge change besides increasing the range a little bit. So seriously, I understand you are trying to understand my concept, and provide input, but you are really being rude. I said I had enough, no need to keep continuing and saying rude things that I could care less about. That's no way to speak to a lady. I'm tired of players coming to the forums and providing nothing but complaints to CCP, who in turn actually listens to the small minority that try to improve their weapons beyond what is considered fair. As such, any time I see such posts in the forums I have argued as best I can with logic, facts, numbers, and examples so that IF a CCP dev actually reads these topics he/she does not think that one or two people speak for everyone. Your point of view is to get Tactical Sniper rifles a range increase and have refused or ignored my attempts to get more information from you. What ranges are you talking about? Please be specific. I cannot selectively read what you say when I go so far as to quote and argue every sentence you write. You are repeating nothing but the same demand of 'increase the range of snipers' and 'improve sniping' over and over again without providing numbers. This repetitive trait of yours is not helping the devs or myself understand what it is that you think needs improving about the range. The tactical variant is not meant for long range, it is meant to be used tactically in situations that normal snipers may not be able to reach. Which is why their ranges have been cut to less than 250 meters. If you want a long range sniper rifle then please look towards the base variant or the Charge sniper rifle as both of these still have several hundred meter ranges. Do not ask for a blanket, generalized buff to sniper rifles when some of them are already powerful enough in one field or another. Your definition of "middle of battlefield" or "center of battle" seems to be off. The only thing that I can take from your words is that you equate being in battle with being outside of your teams red-line. CCP clearly stated that they were trying to discourage the red-line sniping that provides little help to their stat-counters. If i'm wrong in what it is that you are trying to say than I ask, ASK, that you clarify. When you say things like "it's not a huge change besides increasing the range a little bit" I take it to mean that you want an extra 10 meters range on your weapon. Not a problem, unless you're talking about something a bit higher than that. I have merely asked time and time again for you to provide more information as you have provided very little. Something other than "increase this." I even apologized for swearing and if my words are misread as being rude than I apologize again, but please understand that whether or not you are a "lady" does not matter to me on the forums or even in a game. You are a player, you are a forum writer and I will argue a point that I deem to be wrong no matter who or what you are. If you want a change, than do more than complain. Try something else if one thing gets changed too much for you. And again, Good day sir, SmokinRoses o7 i have spent the better part of an hour reading you two argue with each other over this point, roses, you never gave any actual reason why you wanted the range to be increased other than that you didn't know/expect it to be changed, you also seem to be in favor of calling anyone who isn't a sniper an assault, which is very wrong as the majority of the ground targets for snipers are still heavies and scouts. if you think that your duvolle tac can outrange a standard sniper rifle, i welcome you to try, and will laugh my ass off when you fail, the only rilfes that come close to the range of the SR are the RR and the LR thats it and you havok have worded your posts in a way that makes it a little difficult to read, as i caught myself trying to skip text walls because they were too blocky and rantish Bring back the Marauders, Enforcers, Logistic, and Scout LAVS and Dropships
