I've been in every relevant corp to date. FACT!!
I lie.
KEQ AE Followed some AE guys to whatever that was to the FA/AE merger, then back to AE to whatever it was Rampy had back to AE and there to stay until I am not there anymore.
KEQ was the most fun as far as playing. AE is where I actually learned game mechanics and how to do certain things. Soul/Kujo and even Rampy helped me along. I never did well in PC's as far as kills and points went, but I always did what they asked me to do with no questions asked.
Oh, and the ISK in AE....holy ****!!!! Mounds and mounds of ISK...it was like food stamp day EVERY DAY!
My days with AE are what would make me come back and play as much as possible. Kicking it with my homies in there were good times. Taste and me rolling around in LAV's jumping out with bursts(before you fools knew they existed) and my homie bigboibiggums would do the same.
Oh well, maybe another day.

Tso's seems to have all but abandoned alliance chat, we EVE guys just stick to our public chat.
I can admit though, Tso's alliance chat is pure cancer. Our EVE side is pretty understanding though, which is nice.

You guys are cute.
I don't think many people in the War room can comprehend what it actually means to be loyal to a clan. Though, to be fair, Dust and EVE don't exactly encourage that kind of behaviour. And, with the low attention span of the people "running" the more modern corporations these days it's hardly surprising not many stay in the same place for very long.
Here's a new flash: You ARE a corp-hopper until you stop 'hopping corps', as it were. Whether or not you have a good reason is irrelevant. It doesn't have to be a derogatory label.
This message doesn't apply to everyone, of course. I have the utmost respect for those who stay with their brethren through thick and thin. It does indeed rely on a few key factors within the clan itself such as good leadership, good ethics and a strong drive with healthy rules and systems.
I have been in Burgezz for 2 years now (had my 2 year anni on the 20th of August) and I can't imagine not being in this clan with my brothers and sisters. I have every intention of staying with the clan as long as I'm alive. That's sounds eccentric but I see no reason why not. Danga has lead the clan since its birth for 5 years now and he loves it even more than I do. I haven't been more than a day in 2 years without going to our website and at least saying 'Hey'. That'll change soon when I go travelling but I will do everything I can to keep up to date with everyone.
Basically, don't be afraid to jump ship but for the love of god don't ever try and deny that's what you're doing. You are a corp hopper until you stop corp hopping. Simple! You'll find something, I hope, that you really love one day. You need, as stated above, good leadership more so than anything. Our leadership has taken 5 years to perfect, but within the last year we've nailed it. 1 leader, 4 ranking officers, 3 SGTs, As many SGT Majors as needed (our branch commanders, we have 9 branches atm), Officers and then our members.

ThatGÇÖs nothing. Have you ever looked at Charlotte OGÇÖDellGÇÖs Corp history? It is two pages long!
Now, I had a bit of an advantage over you, B1ack ice, as I had EVE experience. When I got fed up with crap that was going down in my first Corp, and decided to make my own Corp to keep doing what I was doing without the drama, I had an EVE Character to use as CEO, and I moved all the Corporate shares into my personal wallet. No one is going to steal my Corp!
I feel bad reading this about you loosing HeavenGÇÖs Lost Property, as that is a cool name for a Corp. Although, on the flip side if the CEO suddenly seemed to drop off the face of the Earth, I can understand your members trying to put an active player in the CEO position.

Ok, I will give mine.
I joined DUST University because I came from EVE and knew Ivy League by reputation.
I wrote a successful guild and was promoted to Director of Education.
Several months later I saw that another director was being a bully and abusing students, instructors, and other Directors. I told the CEO that he needed to do something about it, but he did not seem to be doing anything. Finally I left DUST University because I felt that if I stayed I would just be enabling the bullying. So I joined my wifeGÇÖs Corp: ItGÇÖs So Fluffy.
I rejoined DUST University when the CEO assured me that he would do something about the bullying. However after watching his efforts I realized two things: 1) He would never demote or kick a director, and 2) the bully had also realized that he would not be kicked regardless of what he did. So the bully just ignored every measure the CEO tried to take to curb his behavior, knowing that there would be no real consequences.
So I left DUST University again, knowing that there was nothing I could do to stop the bullying. (I did not know it at the time, but over 50 members of DUST University left when they saw I had left the Corp.)
At that point I was just about finished my Frontline Infantry Guide, and I did not want to release it under NPC Corp tags, so I created Immortal Guides.
After releasing my massive Frontline Infantry Guide I wanted to continue my work training new players. I considered joining BojoGÇÖs School of the Trades, but I was suspicious of the fact that Bojo was no longer the CEO, and I wanted to avoid involvement in any more drama. (Turned out that Artificer Ghost was about as good a guy as you will ever meet in DUST and there had been no drama, but I did not know that at the time.)
So I stayed in Immortal Guides and instead formed the Learning Coalition with BojoGÇÖs School of the Trades (Artificer Ghost), Bojo The Mighty, and Charlotte OGÇÖDellGÇÖs Mango Group. Since BojoGÇÖs School of the Trades had been setup as an advanced trade school, Immortal Guides (my Corp) was given the role of Basic Training Corp within the Coalition.
I briefly joined BojoGÇÖs School of the Trades on Fox to coordinate when that Corp and Immortal Guides each were given a district in December 2013 for setting up training matches.
Around that time Charlotte OGÇÖDell was trolling DUST University over them losing their PC districts, and the bully from DUST University responded by attacking me, even though I had not said anything against D-Uni. He made lots of extravagant claims including trying to convince people that I had left D-Uni due to having a mental breakdown in real life. Most of his posts got deleted, which sort of disappointed me as I enjoyed seeing him make himself look bad, but since he was making claims about my mental state in real life I can understand why CCP deleted the posts. (Technically is was out of game libel.)
In the end I gave the District back, as it was too much work to administer. I had not asked for it in the first place. Charlotte OGÇÖDell had negotiated to get it, then plopped it in my lap and went on deployment for a month, after stirring stuff up. We did get some good dropship flight school matches, and some interesting training matches in while we had it though.
Various Corps and training groups came and went from the Learning Coalition, including the widely respected Scout training Corp: R 0 N 1 N. Artificer Ghost eventually gave BojoGÇÖs School of the Trades back to Bojo The Might, who then disbanded the Corp in order to downsize to a training group of the same name. Artificer Ghost then created Learning Coalition College to replace it, but it never really got off the ground. After the Legion announcement all the other major players in the Learning Coalition left DUST, leaving Immortal Guides as the only Learning Coalition Corp, although we still have plenty of instructors from other Corporations.
I never really wanted to be a CEO. I am more comfortable being the guy that does the work and makes the CEO look good. That is to say, I am more of an Administrator than a Leader. But I feel a CEOGÇÖs responsibility is to protect the interests of the members and shield them from drama, and I just did not know anyone but myself who I could trust to do that. Now, a year later, I know several people I would trust to have as a CEO, but now I have this thing I have started and I feel a responsibility to keep it going. All things considered, I have been fairly successful at building what I set out to build. I feel I have made a difference. It would be a shame to walk away from that now. Besides, it puts me in a unique position to be able to get to know and play with people from all kinds of different Corps.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

I liked squading with Mike (sad he quit :,( ), then TP came around and starting bullying everyone and I heard AE was winning a few of their fights against TP so I joined then. Then I stayed at AE for around 4 months, and I felt like making my own corp. that's when I made G0DS AM0NG MEN i was there for 6 months then took about a. 3 to 4 week break from Dust, and when I came back the corp fell apart. So after I came back I wasn't expecting to play much so I joined AE again, but I started playing more and more so I decided to join more active corp so I rejoined DL for about 10 days. Then some of my directors and I decided to all join one corp. we decided on joining FA because they were active in PC, but didn't have many districts and thought we could help there the most. Then Rampage started playing again so I told all of the guys who went to FA if they wanted to go to Pure Evil.
I know y'all really don't care I just posted this because I was bored So you created G0DS AM0NG MEN? One of my more promising students joined G0DS AM0NG MEN. I assume you must have passed CEO to someone else when you left? 501 headstrong is there CEO now so your student should be in good hands as he is a good leader. but i never could understand why John would ditch his corp like that during troubleing times he was the face of Gods. And yes when I left promoted Hakyou too CEO and he promoted Devin and Devin promoted 501st, but yes 501st is doing a good job with the corp. Any Corp that survives its first change of leadership has a lot of long-term potential.

Pu$$y has always been one of the highest priorities for me. Which is the biggest reason why I'd never gotten involved in online gaming until I was in my 30s. Now I'm married (to a hotass German) so I don't have to go out looking for it. When I hear these dudes say they are in their teens and putting up 1000s of kills per week it makes me sad for them. They should be out chasing tail and getting f'd up and focusing on school. There is no way a person is getting 1000s of kills per week and getting a whole lot done IRL. struck a nerve with that one even if you have a girl or are marred they could all ways use more attention and less video game wars.

On the flip, when you've been with/are with someone you love for a long time sometimes you need a little more video games sometimes and a little less them. Nothing wrong with having a hobby, so long as nothing is neglected, priorities are straight and everyone's happy. And as long as you get good head.

B1ack ice wrote:Now, what would you classify as corporation hopping?
I've been in the following corporations:
Knights of Ender Umbrella Logistics D.A.R.K L.E.G.I.O.N 0uter.Heaven Ancient Exiles.
_______________________________________________________________________________
THE FOLLOWING CORPORATIONS ARE BASICALLY ONE: *Rolls eyes*
Ancient Ecchi Heaven's Lost Property No Game No Life EnvyUs. Fooly Cooly. Tokyo Ravens
_______________________________________________________________________________
Inner.Hell Pure Evil.
I became friends with CEO of Knights of Ender, MRBH1997, and at the beginning of my DUST career I joined his corporation. I was confused on what I wanted to do in the game so I played some matches with some friends in Umbrella Logistics and decided that I should leave KOE to grow as a player.
When I first started playing the game I would always go into matches and get stomped by D.A.R.K L.E.G.I.O.N, so I worked off of the assumption that DL was one of the better corporations in the game, if not the best, and made an outlined goal to get in.
I left Umbrella Logistics after my best friend in the corporation turned on me and a day later got into DL by sitting in my friend's tank and killing them all in some back-to-back matches against them. One secret many don't know about me is that I'm a very good gunner apparently.
I became best friends with the director, and Ares (CEO of D.A.R.K L.E.G.I.O.N) best friend, Cenex Langly. :)
I was in DL for about a month or two and then became aggravated at the in-house drama and lack of squadding, so I told Cenex that I was going to take my leave and he left as well for the same reasons. He went to 0uter.Heaven and I wanted to be in the same corporation as him. Plus, I loved the tags and some of my other friends were in 0.H as well.
I was a Logi back then with no proto suit, SP placed randomly everywhere (Probably the worst allocation of a player in the game... LOL) and hence I died a lot. The only reason I got into 0uter.Heaven is because I was in a pub match against Tibs and Reiselia, was the only one on the team to not go negative, and hunted him downed and murdered him after he killed me. He told me to send my app in. I did.
Let me be clear: I LOVED 0UTER.HEAVEN. :)
Everyone was great, Tibs was going to help get me situated with a more suitable role (slaying) and I was overall very pleased.
Then Radar came back. I didn't know him and when I joined he had left the game seeing as PS4 just released.
The attitude change was very unfavorable. I didn't want to be carried, and it seemed as though they had no room for me to really get involved and start carrying.
The core group was set and that was that. After the fallout of the war with AE, which I refused to vote in on the grounds of Switzerland, a lot of people started leaving and I was bound and determined to stick with them because I don't just up and leave for no reason or get going when the going gets tough. I ended up leaving because I felt 1. unwelcome and 2. that if I really wanted to carry I wasn't going to be able to learn there. I heard I was being called a scrub behind my back and understood that if I wanted to be in 0uter.Heaven in the future and get anything done I needed to be a confident player in myself and in the game. Kaughst leaving, one of the most awesome people I have met in the game, was the nail on that coffin.
I left and joined AE after becoming friends with DJINN Rampage. <3
I started talking to him on the forums and then started talking in-game. He sat with me in the redline and taught me how to strafe.
Ancient Exiles is, hands down, the best corporation in the game and the only one I regret leaving save for my own.
I ended up leaving because of a misunderstanding and some random in Corp starting drama and sending me messages. ETC
SOMEWHERE IN THE MIDDLE OF ALL THIS I GOT GOOD. *\O/*
I left AE and joined Ancient Ecchi, Heimdallr69's corp. He and I both got the same treatment from some people in AE and bonded over that. Was funny too, because I never thought I would talk with or be in the same room as Heim. xD I had lots of animosity towards him and he didn't like me either.
We became great friends and through him I joined the channel Anime Empire and met SoTa PoP. I really loved the concept of Anime Empire and started getting really excited about it. SoTa talks a very big game. They didn't have name for the corporation and I was talking with Heim about what some of his favorite anime's were. He told me about Heaven's Lost Property and it just clicked. HEAVEN'S LOST PROPERTY....
I personally felt, with what happened with 0uter.Heaven and AE, that it was a perfect tag. I created the corporation and came to the understanding that I no longer cared about Anime Empire as a whole. If it came to it, I would sit in HvLP by myself because it was MINE.
I even said this essentially and thought that it was clear.
I decided to allow it to be the Anime corp, because I thought SoTa and I were two like minded individuals who could work/come together to achieve something amazing.
Why not make what is already a great thing even greater? I though, "There's really no down-side to this." I always had a squad going in DL and never did I ever have trouble getting in a squad so I dunno what happened there. You were always welcome. Yes we gave you hell sometimes but it was all in good fun. I also tried to stear you clear of the logi with a shotgun idea. You were missed when you left. The inside tension at the time was due to the war that we were suppose to be helping OH with and then they quit. They gave up and left DL and Paradox to the wolves. We fought hard and held out through the end of 2013 before succumbing to the enemy. War always creates tension and you just happened to show up at that exact time.
