at up to 80m range at full damage
0m-110m range effective range
its pretty silly, it was OP before it got its last buff
I've noticed a few more LR's and they do eat you up pretty quickly.
I might actually buy a 2nd keyboard for the ps3 and run kbm to show how stupid it is
it's stupid enough with a ds4, but the low framerate and lack of precision from a controller makes you miss quite a lot at long range

In CQC it's about as threatening as a five year old with a damp sock.
Long range its a killer. At short range hope you have a good backup weapon cuz yer screwed. |

LR and SR gives the best overall capacity for infantry killing. Gallente and minmatar for AV and caldari for ganking snipers. |

i think one of the 'safest' suits is an ADV gallente assault M/I running an Exile and Toxin SMG with packed AV nades and a standard nanohive. its a nice balance between defense and offence, you can't be done for nade spam or 'OP' rail rifle use, you're using a rifle which can be out dps'd by pretty much every other weapon ingame (including sharp sticks and harsh language) and you're not farming points by sitting in a rep hive camping noobs as they run past you.

In CQC is still does 70% efficacy (which is still 900 dps) at 15m and 40% efficacy at 0m, you don't realise how powerful the buffs made it

As far as I am concerned, if you are not using a burst HMG, Thale's sniper rifle, or combat rifle you are not using a crutch. +rr for me...as far as guns go..but then I also think scouts of every flavor deserve to be nerfed

F*ck everyone else and be what you want to be, people can ***** and whine about what you use and what you do, but in the end it all boils down to jealousy. You can follow my line of things and get a proto rail rifle and max it out (which is a very good choice btw) it's not 'OP' as people say theres many ways around it but when you get used to it, its a killing machine. Get a scout suit cos if you dont you'll be shotgunned all the time, i use a cal scout atm but im venturing into the min assault cos its a beast, also i do video's on pretty much every weapon to show its killing capability my Channel is 'SAXON ON A MISH' check it out on youtube :) But yea if you hear anyone swearing at someone its cos they have skills not cos a weapon is op, this game is pretty balanced atm. I would say so (many people will disagree). I have been playing for over a year now and have gained alot of skill points and so have alot of the current playerbase, this is why people say things are op cos people have proficiency and damage mods on their weapons. like i have proficiency 5 on my rail rifle with 1 7% damage mod which gives me an additional 22% of damage to every bullet. Its not op its time and effort. But yea you dont have to get anything out what im typing i just hate the fact everyone calls things op when it is just skills. Thanks 'SAX' says the biggest crutch dude ever just kidding i have never seen you play but i would say anything with the words 6kin in front of it is a crutch and caldari scout nubs.

Commandos raise Raw DPS for the primary weapons.
Having more "Bullets per magazine" does NOT raise DPS. Period. Ever. It raises your damage potential while retaining the same DPS, and minimizes "downtime" by prolonging the period between reloads.
If the user can aim better, the 10% DPS increase will win the firefight, if the opponent is in a prolonged firefight then the 25% increase in ammunition per magazine will be better for a firefight.
DPS =/= Magazine Size =/= Alpha
Three very different things for very different situations.

Yes, i agree with you the assault is better with the 20 extra rounds
the problem is those 20 extra rounds are at the end, the small extra damage from the commando plus the bonused 2nd weapon is much more powerful vs targets that dont need those +20 rounds (non heavies basically)
