All I'm seeing is QQ. Equipment is one step towards winning a match, but you still need to be willing to do the things that need doing as soon as you notice them, because if you don't no one else will. Rooftop uplinks? Best get up there and kill them. Vehicles? Better have a swarm launcher. No one holding an objective? Switch to a scout suit and lurk (in fact if you want to play solo in FW scouts are a great option and commando's with av secondaries work very well too).
As far as queue syncing goes - It isn't the reason you're losing, nor is it the reason the enemy team is winning, claiming that is is a pathetic excuse. A single good squad can win faction warfare quite easily. I've seen plenty of matches where 2 full squads ran into one 4 man squad and got destroyed. Queue syncing to me is a non issue - if you want to do it okay whatever but I typically find it more economical to have squads affiliated with my faction in different matches so that we're taking more ground than the other faction.
And FYI having 4 equipment slots is meaningless - I'd rather have 4 players with basic drop uplinks creating multiple reinforcement routes. Logi's can be a great role and asset to the team, but they function best in squads, a solo logi will almost never impact FW, but a solo scout defending a point (particularly an amarr or gallente scout) is an absolute ****ing terror.

Queue syncing doesn't affect anything. You play solo and expect to have an impact and you are wrong to expect that because a single squad has far more impact than 10 solo players (unless they're all people like Mr Mustard). Any one squad of decent players with a good sense of how a battle flows will beat the snot out of 2 synced squads, unless they're synced squads of badasses, which you could still easily end up with even without queue syncing.
The problem isn't with queue syncing. It's with your idea that you can accomplish things going it solo. Solo logi's are worthless - Having four equipment slots isn't anything amazing because you can't be in four places on the map placing uplinks at once. If you want to win, you *need* to interact with other people who also want to win FW. If you want to be a pubstar solo logi, stick to ambush where you can earn 2billion points from 2 uplinks.
You want to complain about blueberries? If you're not in a squad you *are* one.

4. Have fun. Its not always about wining. #2 needs to be "fixed" as for #4 loseing constantly or winning with out effort is not FUN in my book FW is basically PC light. Why do you think FF is turned on? Why do you think there are better rewards? You want the good stuff? Be willing to risk for it. Put some good gear and ISK on the line. i do.. L4 logi gear and proto LP suit is best i can atm but despite this it always seems; at least when ever i decide to do FW, that cal and amarr always lose and by a big margin.. iv yet to experance one of these fabled "WINs" for cal or amarr.. as for amarr and cal i run them on my just barely advanced gear baby logis with L3 gear tho i have tried with my main logi too and still no difference in the result.

I actually got a winning streak with Caldari during the day rather than late at night when I would usually play.
It's more about interest in the game mode that is the issue. I'm guessing that if there was caldari scout dropsuits and the racial sentinels in the faction store more people would actually play.
Heck, Amarr has FOUR different dropsuits in their store...I don't see why it wouldn't be more popular. It also has a much more dedicated channel than minmatar.

and i highly doubt meny single squads will beat Q-syncers
and i hate ambush.. and fyi noobcakes uplinks in ambush can cause more deaths/losses cause smart deploy dosnt take into account hostiles camping uplinks, i prefer hives reps and rezzes, keeping my peeps alive is more important then letting them die just to come back and die again..

Heck, Amarr has FOUR different dropsuits in their store...I don't see why it wouldn't be more popular. It also has a much more dedicated channel than minmatar. as much as id like to agree with you shayz this FW thing stems from the EVE-O meta of gallente and minmatar winnning / being dominant in FW there too..
as for amar having the dropsuits.. yes i did wonder that but still nothing but losses when i have been there on my amarr alt..or caldari fw losses when on caldari alt.. and with how seeming OP amarr assault is atm i would have thought the FOTM chasers would have already been grinding amarr like a horny jack Russel humps legs.
as for the caldari win streak.. thats still a drop in the ocean.. like one guy said gallente got beaten a whole 2 times Woooo.. thats nothing when gall win pretty much constantly save the rare times they drop the ball of which i believe is probably aorund the time you must have been running cal-fw shayz
i guess im frustrated at the fact being curb stomped or being on the team handing out the curb stomp just dosnt feel fun in the slightest, i do have more fun in normal matchmakeing because i have had some great games which have been really down to the wire.. as for FW i do like there being friendly fire as it adds a whole other level of difficulty while i can appreciate.
even if ccp was to populate all the factions LP stores with all the items it still wouldnt make much differance i bet as EVE meta knocks on into Dust meta so it would still be gal and min shrugging off cal and amarrs once in a blue moon victory(s)

as for joining squads i do "hot-drop" into squads with free room but if its on cal/amarr side it always seems to be a complete pushed back to the MCC type fight.. or even worse we dont even get to cap a single thing.. that is why cal and amarr fw hardly have any good players.. its cause they all join min/gal cause they too are sick of being steamrolled.

I don't remember loosing a single Amarr FW match when PCLAS gets on the field.
It's really a shame FW is not a ****** up farmville, that remains a pointless endeavour with no tangible benefits what so ever for a broken, half finished game.
When any of you start working EVE side let me know.... I might decide to care.

We win roughly 85 out of every 100 Amarr battles.
We take 12 people minimum into roughly 90 out of every 100 battles.
We bring orbital support to roughly 70 out of every 100 battles.
Coincidence? NO, Teamwork is certainly OP and should be nerfed immediately.
If going into Amarr please take a minimum of 6 people as it is really not cool having all these randoms giving away our districts while we are busy taking more. If you need a Q-Sync channel for Amarr feel free to message me. |

1) Join channel
2) Don't play for the Amarr during daytime hours in the US (for whatever reason, that's been a losing proposition as long as I can remember)
3) ????
4) Profit
Admittedly, 8 months ago, if you weren't rolling with PCLAS or Cubs, you were screwed in Amarr FW. But, with a recent influx of talent like Deezy's crew, nighttime in the US continues to be pretty much a steamroll for the Empire. (and yes, sorry to say it True, the winning percentage is pretty high, but I remember some losses in squads with you. Hell, I even lost 2 in a row with Cubs' squad on the field one night. That was shocking to say the least, but it was against 15 Ultramarines so I guess it shouldn't have been)
As for Caldari, well, sometimes Hellstorm and a couple guys from my corp play there and I can get a good fight with them. Otherwise, yeah, it's kindof a lost cause. Malleus' comment about the lack of a single channel was hilariously accurate.

LOL some people dont bother to look at how something works before griping.
FW match CREATION as it could be better called is built almost specifically to support q-syncing. You are able to choose which side of the battle you want and priority for entering the match is given to squads. Feel free to search past dev blogs to confirm this. If you want matchmaking go back to pubs. If you want a fight get a real group of players together and go hope that someone has done the same on the opposite side.
I left all my crayons out in the sun so I had to just type it instead.

Blush..... hahaha
I operate on a simple premise that 3 things are necessary for a win in this game.
In order of importance:
1. Numbers (more players coordinating than on the opposite side) 2. Coordination 3. Gear (aka SP)
In factional 2 of these 3 things MUST exist or you are wasting your time. Obviously in PC that would be different due to the fact that all 3 have been obtained and the right equipment must be used to form a complete team as well as having skilled players.

That said, you may not have noticed, but I only use ADV level gear other than some of my logi equipment. The other 2 are pretty important though. (and you're welcome)
Also, I agree with you that we don't need matchmaking per se in FW, but, lets be honest, there is no matchmaking in pubs.

Gear is third because it only comes into play as something needed if one of the other principles fall short.
Also, agreed matchmaking in pubs is a rouse at best in most cases but it is an attempt because it is meant to be there. This is why on a weekly basis I run 10-15 pubs maximum and 40-50 factionals minimum.
Soon we will have our daytime crew back running at its former glory as well so that we can keep things on track taking districts faster than randoms can give them back. The influx to FW brought by Charlie forced some alterations to my plans which will come to light over the next couple of weeks.
