"They ruined my cal scout so now i need a respec" "I don't have max fitting skills and i can't fit all proto on my suit, it need a pg/cpu buff" Etc, etc, etc............ Didn't you people learn by now that if something seems to good to be true that it will get changed as soon as posible? If you did then why the hell are you still going into the new FoTM instead of learning to use what you got. Do you people know how many times i hear FoTM chasers cry and whine that they can't fit stuff because they wasted sp on the FoTM and now can't upgrade any fiotting skills, so when the FoTM changes they are whine and cry and b!tch that they need or deserve a respec because the suit or weapon they are using got change and its not the way it was before, and they want to spec into the new FoTM. All I really have to say is CCP stop caving to the scrubs and changing things and giving respecs so they can chase the next FoTM, you are the devs, not the players and you should decide what happens and what does not happen towards development in the game. You had a diamond of a game and by listening to the scrubs whine and cry you have turned into a lump of coal.

I would feel justified in requesting a respec if that was the primary role of that suit and they took it away. Same goes with the Cal scouts. The only difference is that people say the Cal scout was OP and they didn't say that about the Minja. It doesn't make a difference to me how popular a suit is, changing the bonus should be followed by a respec in an ideal world.

The nubs who go from game to game asking what the best X is, they try it, its doesn't work for them, they quit. They will only play a game that has blatant I win buttons. They are literally parasites and infest games and cling together like sht and sugar I have found. The painful thing is that this is them playing their way BUT as you clearly know, their choice is ALWAYS made for them, they just don't know it. A rolling nade is worth two in ambush.

At the start of 1.8 i chose cal scout because I knew cloaking/dampening would be a pain in the arse due to the active scanner "fixes" and to ensure I was making the right choice I took the time to read the description, compare slot layouts/bonus to other scouts, make many experimental fits on protofits, ask my corpmates their opinion, invest it to lvl 1 to run the experimental fits^(that i made on protofits) and then liking how it felt skilled to lvl 5. and you have the audacity to call me fotm chaser!!!!! I'M ONE OF THE ONES THAT MADE IT BECOME FOTM, IT'S ALL YOU DAMN SCRUBS THAT CAME RUNNING FROM THE GALLENTE SCOUT NERF THAT ARE THE FOTM CHASERS!!!! so mad i about shlt my dropsuit "uh guys" "i got to go back to the depot that installation made me crap my dropsuit"

S by the time you put points into cal scout people already had them. So all you did was follow the pack and go with the FoTM.

My fitting choices are very very limited on a c1 dropsuit now. I can imagine it scales up from standard to proto. However on my c1 suit i cant use my blueprints. There just is not enough cpu / pg on the suit to even entertain the idea of using a bp. If i want to use 3 shield extenders i use 3 standard shield reg. I cant fit anything better than standard. I can fit snandard everything on the suit and thats it not advanced not militia. I also cant fit a forgegun on said suit. To do that i need to either get rid of sidearm and grenafde LOL or fit the hi slots will all regulators or leave empty. So yea the cal sentinals have been boned pretty good on this one. Also simply on a numbers standpoint it is now the lowest of ALL dropsuits in pg / cpu. Even my lousy dragonfly scout bpo has better cpu and pg.

Part of Dust is that it constantly changes, trying to get ahead of the curve is part of the fun, weighing the choice of trying to make what you have work better versus skilling into something new is part of the challenge. Sometimes the changes need changing though, it is not a quest for the perfectly balanced game where everything remains static but one of constant change while maintaining reasonable balance. This means changing fits and playstyles and it isn't bad to choose what is effective. Because, that's why.
