What does children VS adults have to do with competing on the field If I may ask?

Children may not have any depth of insight into the game, such as the constraints of team resources during battle. They may play from an entirely subjective perspective without an objective overview of what is happening on the field and how they may best contribute to a victory. There is nothing wrong with playing for fun and getting what you want out of the game without regard to anyone else's welfare. The battlefield is punishing enough. If judge wants to punish them further for their actions that is a corrective action made under a set of morals which those subject to it may not share. In other words, anybody can do whatever the hell they want. There is no established code of conduct.

That said, Judge can do whatever the hell he wants, hence my plea, derived from strategic insight not to waste other team members' time, despite how insignificant their contribution may look to me.

five times Liverpool F.C. 11	Posted - 2014.07.31 12:18:00 - [31] - Quote i got a thales sniper on the same map today, killed him with my 1500 isk militia troll fit, cal heavy with forge, he was in a proto cal asault the reason i mention this is because, i found him the first time and i forgot to change from smg to forge and i went to charge forge gun and fired the smg, he scarpered, i had him to low armour and the timer killed me i went back and he had moved 20 metres more in to the red, i killed him and he sent a message : "cant a sniper snipe in peace?" i thought you can if your not stupid the point being, its not just noobs who do whats in the vid, this guy had proto assault (knowledge enough of high slots for damage mods) and skilled into sniping enough to use a thales, i started playing in feb this year and still havent got proto suit, heck it didnt even occur to me try making fits until april, i thought it was just starter fits onky until i went on forums and got some knowledge

(and to whomever called in that orbital strike the last time I broke out a Thale's...good on you. Seriously, you took out a thales, and 2 other snipers, along with a tank called in nearby...great placement and thinking, probably what tipped the scales in that last minute)

It's more a convenience factor. A sniper rifle grants you some extra kill while you're relatively safe. you gain more money, you risk less money. That's why any pub game is full of non-dedicated, ad-libitum snipers. Moreover, it's relatively easy to snipe, that's probably why the sniper rifle damage is not that high. Just look at how other games solve this problem: bullet travel time, bullet falloff, the "hold-breath" in battlefield etc... And please, don't get me wrong, we have been one of the few corporations that deployed almost everytime at least 2 snipers in PC last year. Ive also done it to infantry too. Oh you want to talk about snipers on a roof, but what about infantry whole teams never leaving the roof. I agree though, they would have been close enough to hear the gun fire and should have looked around. None of those players were snipers, just players that gave up and were trying to pad some stats. Stop blaming sniping problems on snipers, when its infantry players with SR that are the douchebags. They use the SR to gain isk and sp, than go back to what they were doing. When I look down my scope, all I see are dead people.

I have long encouraged the trolling of blue snipers when there are so many of them in a single game. There are times when over half your team will be sniping. I'd also point out that in the first part of the video, where the OP's piloting the Incubus, his team was up 15 kills over the reds and their MCC had slightly more shields--in other words, a fairly even match up to the point the video cut to the Python footage. By the end of the Python footage, OP's team was up 76 kills and their MCC had almost all its shields while the enemy's had three or four ticks of armor left--in other words, a stomp. In the first case, with the Incubus, it was probably a good idea that those 5 were hanging out on the tower, since if they were on the ground, they'd likely be dying fast, increasing the odds of cloning the blue team (only 111 clones left at about 1/2 shields--definitely a possibility). I infer this because, watching the kill feed, I noticed the red team scored 9 sniper kills (5 went to I Brutos, using an advanced SR) while only three went to the blue team (and one of those was a Thales ). Clearly the blue snipers were not very good, especially considering that sniping the bridge from that tower in a dom is one of the easiest places to rack up SR kills, assuming you're not being harassed (usually by a red DS). I don't have any problem with people playing the way they want to and trolling their own team, but it would've only taken the OP a second to clean up those red snipers he was complaining about himself. In the second case, I didn't see any groups of blueberry snipers, so I'm not sure of the point of that footage. I don't see much of an issue with blues (likely either noobs or terribads) tower camping in an attempt not to die and maybe get a couple kills. I can relate to being a no/low-SP scrub and recall what it was like to feel relegated to ineffective sniping. And again, I don't really care that the OP was trolling his own team, but there's no need to sound preachy about it or ask the community, "who's the d!ck?" Doing so makes the choice a lot easier, if you catch my drift.

Not everyone likes the slayer role, some like to snipe. The fact that in your opinion the clump of blues werent helping the game progress to your liking makes you come across as a bit self-righteous. I cant see how spending the rest of the match on a DS or ADS knocking blueberries off the towers helps the team any more than what they were doing. Yes Im sure its fun to do but maybe thats what they were doing , having fun. I can see getting upset not following a plan or tactics in a planned match like PC or corp battles but in pubs you shouldnt dictate how the game is played. If there are too many "noobs" for ones liking in a match , theres always the option of leaving the match.

I will simply that while Snipers do need better spots, these spots also need to be easily accessible to general infantry. Snipers should be relatively mobile, recognizing when they have been made and when they should move. For example the Gallantean Research Facility does have some good spots for Sniping with plenty of areas having great FOV over both the Socket amd the surrounding terrain. The reason people don't use these spots is because a lot of Snipers seem to have an aversion to moving. I have literally indentified a hideout, flew over there in a Dropship, hovered infront of his scope for a few seconds, landed beside and shot him in the back of the head with a shotgun. I then received hate mail because apparently I'm Sniper Hunting Scum. The problem with Snipers is that they always promote, finding a spot and staying there.
