The enemy AI rely on increased HP and DMG values to increase the difficulty opposed to actual smart behavior. When you level up you also become vastly more superior in HP and DMG every time so taking on enemies a few levels below you is a cake walk and taking on enemies a few levels above you is near impossible as they one shot you. This also means that the only way to play with a friend is if they are within one or two levels of you. Why this leveling system is so popular is beyond me. And then PVP, which coming from the Halo creators is the absolute biggest disappointment. There is no new ideas and no depth to it at all. I'd go so far as to call it "tacked on." Fun for a few matches but quickly becomes boring as you realize there's really nothing to it.

If this game was made by anyone other than Bungie I doubt very many people would care.

DISCLAIMER: I'm not saying Destiny is garbage. I'm only saying that it adds nothing that we haven't seen before elsewhere. It'll still be a fun game to play through, but I doubt many people will stick around too long. Which is good, because Destiny 2 come out in 2016.

Lots of hype, and lots of fun for the first month and then it gets old. I have zero plans to play it. The bulk of that game is running around shooting AI, which frankly sucks. And from reviews I've seen and read, the PVP is bland. Maybe it will get better, who knows. I'm gonna put Destiny into the category of "Games that will kill Dust" right along side GTA V, Assassin's Creed, Titan Fall, BF4, COD Ghosts, Dark Souls II and Watch Dogs. We all know these games didn't kill Dust and neither will Destiny. Only CCP can kill Dust. Gun control is not about guns...it's about control. The only way to ensure freedom is by having the means to defend it.

There have been tons of posts about how great Destiny will be and I hear lots of people taking about it on comms. I was simply curious if anyone else doesn't care about this new game. I also pointed out that everyone is talking about Destiny just like how the other games I listed were talked about. those others games were going to be so great and people would play them for years, but that didn't happen. I know many people that said one of those games was going to make them quit Dust forever yet within weeks they were all back in Dust. None of those games have the longevity or staying power that Dust has and I seriously doubt Destiny will. Gun control is not about guns...it's about control. The meat of destiny IS pve not gonna lie, and it is mission based,beta has 4 missions and 1 instance type mission where you need to have 2 other people (there's matchmaking if you don't), you can run with 2 other people for the story missions or go solo if you choose. Or, if you just want to go pvp, you can. you can still level up and build your skills for your class, get equipment rewards, etc in there on top of bounties (simple tasks like win x amount of matches, kill 10 other people from behind, etc.) to get a big exp boost to keep leveling with ease, although from what i've seen opening up new skills does take a bit longer in there. what i think of when charging fg

A day or two might be a set back but in the long run it would do more good than harm and would allow a chance for a more focused environment .. since that is really a big issue among a lot in the community . But the pieces were falling into place and that's all the more reason that I really know that they won't do what would be good and allow a refund because they really don't care . The biggest point is the fact that CCP has given deaths meaning. You lose something of value and can be infuriating where other games you can die and die over and over without a care. Destiny is a very polished game. I have not experienced any lag, no terrain hang ups, no spotty hit detection and graphically amazing (ps4 user). Beta is obviously just scratching the surface of what bungie created and I'm expecting much more in the release and years to come as things expand. What rattatai's been doing with these hot fixes is moving dust into a state that is far better then it has ever been in terms of balance between classes, weapons, etc but there is still ALOT of room to improve. My biggest gripe is terrain. I hate moving around walls and getting caught up, climbing a latter to the top and then having to jump to get over the invisible lip that catches you, the quicksand feeling moving down a small hill, the ****** ads bounce when on the side of a hill.... we all know these issues.. I'm sure in time these will get fixed, but with how quick games and technology are developing it just might be a little to late, but in time we will all see what transpires. They didn't deliver on the cross-platform play like they promised, but that's it. The story is great. The PVP is fun, and implements a SIMPLE system to keep the games balanced and fun. - The average stats and performance of players in a pvp match are calculated, and the lower players stats are bumped up to this calculated average to keep them competitive. Simplicity. Works well. Higher levels, still keep their gear advantage, and noobs can still put down. No busted aiming mechanics. No arbitrary hit detection issues. Just a smooth flowing game, that has a lot more content in it's beta than originally expected. I find it better than Dust. Dust is only keeping me around, because I want to show support for Legion. The faster Dust dies and Legion rises, the better. Give me a better way to show support for Legion, and I won't support Dust at all. Because Legion (and Star Citizen) are the only things that are going to pull me away from Destiny. (Besides my occasional Battlefield 4 fix.) Set your goals high, and shoot for the moon; even if you miss you'll land amongst the stars.

Stop hating because CCP has already killed Dust at the past FF so get off of your soap boxes and take off your Dust 514 CCP shirt because really , no one in here cares and many will play Destiny and come up with their own thoughts about the game but it's really too early to tell and this game has a two year head start already . How will Destiny be in two years ..??.. should have been your real question to ask and I believe that it will be further along then this game is at the same point and running smoother with better graphics for those who doubt the process of working with Sony and the PS4 . Discussions are already in the mix for a PS5 and I haven't opened my box yet to my PS4 and wont use Destiny as a reason to until the feedback that I study about the game . Just stop with the hate because if others are hating on Dust then they have a reason to do so , actually many reasons to do so . Just be a bigger person about the whole ordeal . How much is CCP paying you fan boy ? How much is bungie paying you for defending them? Fanboi... Quafe A question doesn't always have an answer, but a problem does, So what is DUST?
