Well, you removed vehicles from Tankbush at last. Now it's time to go after the loathsome sniper and create a no sniper game mode. Let's let the players decide what they want to play and what they do not.

How about a no rifle match? or no weapon match? or a no grenade match? Melee only match?
Trying to bolster game modes by 'removing' options is not the way to do this. It's horrid 'amputation' style game balance and it is bad. It doesn't fix any problems, and only causes problems.
As a vehicle Driver now. Being denied the ability to even fly a transport in Ambush is discouraging to myself.

Lets make a game mode that caters to me because I'm not skilled enough to cope with all aspects of the game.
Removing tanks from ambush made sense. You're request makes you look like a plug.

Yep. A mode with just the "specialty" weapons (in other words, none of the four primary racial rifles) and sidearms allowed would be so much more fun and entertaining than normal pubs. Seriously. Melee-only would be pretty sweet, too.

Or better yet:
Let's deal with this 'issue' by having new maps in circulation where the said weapon(s) are impractical to use.
For example, one with covered socket with a floor just below ground level and maybe tunnels connecting sockets.
Instead of just using ban hammer.
Actually, that is the way vehicles should've been handled. =P
Organic way of tuning down some sniping/continous tankstomping/whatever, and that would get some workload of the mechanic balance team and transfer it to map team...

I seriously hope this is a troll.
If snipers are bothering you so much you want them removed, then you must be doing something terribly wrong. 9/10 times they are a nuisance at best. The other one time it is someone who can actually snipe or is using a fully modded Thale's.
Removing snipers is not a fix for the "issue". Solving redline abuse is. |

okay, but then I want a no scouts mode, and a no explosives mode.
and then we should also have a no a.v mode too.
whilst we're at it we might aswell make a lav only mode it'll be like bumper cars.
we could also make a no violence mode. and a mirror mode where the only weapons that can hurt you are the ones you are using
