Vehicles are a bit boring though after we have so few modules. I understand them cutting out redundant modules to help balance, I just wish that CCP could find new modules with new functions to add that people would consider using.

I want cheaper HAVs. I want some damned vehicle spam. I want vehicles to be as throw away -able as dropsuits can be. I want this now that ambush is no longer capable of providing a quick AV fix.
Such a thing guarantees me vehicles to sink my AV "teeth" into. Too often I find myself in a domination or skirmish where my millions of SP are of zero use, forcing me into my less than ideal secondary roles.

i say bring back overdrives. theyres nothing to put on lavs now that overdrives are gone.
you can increase the cost as long as speed tanking can comeback like 1.6 when av and vehicle balance was nearly perfect. before they made everything way to fast like 1.7

i agree,the only tank that give me trouble is a 5000hp gunlogi. i think i see a rep madrugar earlier? he was repainting faster than my forge gun was charging,and it was a forge lv5.

It's meaningless and empty because it's so easy to do anymore. I haven't been in a single game where a tank lasted longer than about 2 minutes before being cornered and blown up. (by me and others of course)
Unless you're willing to increase the defenses and offense of the tanks back to their pre "alteration" they're clearly not worth the increase in price. In fact, CCP has recognized this and is dropping the price on Dropships as well, because they were exorbitant compared to the actual time of use they get on the field anymore.
I suggest you think carefully about your request, because you will be crying about OP tanks in no time if they have to scale them up to match their price.

Ok listen.
To destroy soma you need 1guy with forge (cost 30-40k DAU FG)
To destroy proto fited madrugar you need 1 guy with IAFG (prof 3, 2-3dmg mods) that costs 70k!!.. So 500k tank pooped by 70k heavy (because heavy have fked up cpu pg that can eqiup proto,compx on adv).
Next time dont post stupid stuff like this. |
