When going it alone, you have to think even more selfishly than before: 1. Never take on an enemy team that has an organized corp squad, without making sure your team has one as well. 2. If it's NOT obvious if either team has an organized corp squad (e.g. 4-7+ people with the same corp name), then review the corp names that are there to make sure they ARE NOT "NPC Corps" (default corps that noobs start in). Sometimes, either team could have an organized ALLIANCE squad (squad made of people not in the same corp, but in the same alliance and who have invited friends). Alliance Squads are often just as good as Corp Squads, so be on the lookout for those on both teams. 3. If you don't see a corp squad or a possible alliance squad on your team, and you don't see them on the other team; and you are solo, then go ahead and play the match. It'll probably be a decent and fair game with lone wolfs everywhere. 4. If you don't see a corp squad or possible alliance squad on your team, and you DO see them on the other team; and you are solo, then back out of the match. Don't even deploy. Save yourself some time, money, and frustration. 5. If you DO see a corp squad or possible alliance squad on your team, and you see them on the other team also; and you are solo, then you CAN back out, but I recommend playing that match on sheer grounds that it will be fun, and often times you will be the wild card that can change a match in that situation. MANY times squads blame their blueberries for being useless or helpful depending on the outcome. Also, organized squads tend to use proto gear when they face each other, so you also have an opportunity to make money by killing them. Set your goals high, and shoot for the moon; even if you miss you'll land amongst the stars.

I've done this solo many times, but those of you too lazy to come out and join the few of us that make it out are the ones making the game boring, not the squads.

You likely haven't been very much on the receiving end of a stomp. They save up OBs so they can drop them on any vehicle getting called in. Or they will have tanks in range. Or an ADS will swoop in with XT launchers. After the 2nd Bolas and LAV gets destroyed, im done throwing ISK at a lost cause. There is a difference between losing a game, and playing a game that is so unbalanced that its a farce.
