Im predicting that the final names will be lame to a staggering degree:
Here are my predictions of some of the lamest names we will likely see:
- A.B.B.R.E.V.I.A.T.I.O.N.S
-Ethnic or nationalist names (Cause 3rd world countries are the ones that were able to send colonies to New Eden, right?)
-Anything satanist related. (666, hell, ect)
-Delusions of grandeur (greatest, king, ect)
-Delusions of legacy (eternal, legendary, ect)
-Delusions of Chivalry (honor, valor, knight, ect)
-Puntastic expressions only a teenager would find funny
-Extreme vanity
-Anything drug or addiction related (cause substance abuse is something to be proud of)
Frankly people just naming things in the most basic interpretation of their username would be a welcome relief compared to the stuff nolifes will come up with. Ultimately CCP has to approve all suggestions, but their track record as far as QA and vet appeasement is concerned is quite awful.
Either way, im sure a few months from now ill find a weapon in my salvage with a name so horrid, ill want to melt it into a solid block and cast it into a black hole. |
