i dont think it was a waste if time, hell it was one part of the npe that was actually helpful for new players to learn who their commnity is, it let you know weather to expect a protostomp or a random mish-mash of people, in the case of protostompers we could quit before the batle began which is extreamly useful for new players. this is something that needs to return asap ccp |

I miss it because of what you said and the crazy type stuff that went on which was hilarious.
Like that old game, corner and dry hump the scout, there's a reason gallente scouts have yellow butt plugs.

It was useful as **** when we had a second attack 20 minutes after the first one and literally it started during the battle.

I mean 30secs or 1 min max not 7 mins, you should have a PC fits ready, and form up should be before the match starts.

Public Contracts and Faction Warfare are the places where you need the barge, not PC.
The lobby modes require the barge in order to give players time to squad up, due to the atrociously long load times of menus in the games. Without the warbarge, no one will squad up because no one wants to dare wasting time on selecting a squad with the ****** team menu.
It's a direct countermeasure to protostomping.
It also allows you to see the matchmaking list without the fear of spawning before the list has loaded. Which allows you to exit potential stomps. |

In PC you now the people your fighting with in pubs they are people you've never heard of. Thus strategizing is an important part of winning.
