Couple of things,
Amarr assaults now have 3/4 slot layout at proto, not 3/3, (2/3 at adv).
Amarr assaults have 200hp more than Gal scouts, plus an additional module slot at proto. Not sure I would describe the hp difference as "tiny". |

So what you're saying is. You want the Amarr Scout(which you all complain about) to be more or less the better Assaut(bonuses aside)?
Imagine if it was possible to run a Ak.0 scout, and a Ak.0 assault, without bonuses.
The scout is just generally, better. Maybe in shield tanking the Assault isn't, but LolDualTanking, right?
Scout is: Faster Better shield regen 4th low(assault got 3/3 setup, right?) Smaller frame Ability to run non-racial weaponry 2 equips
The only thing making your Amarr assault, is the ability to out DPS heavies using modded controler or dido fingers. Without either of those, you're terrible.
And don't even go ragy 'i will raep your face with Scr lazory goodness'
Duh. I'm minmatar. I die to Lazer rifles in CQC, my Heavy gets 1 shot by Shotguns/locus nades, my Commando can't even fight a Mlt Hmg Heavy. actually proto assault is a 3/4
and if you think dual tank ability counts for **** on amar suits your a fool we are not minnie trash

seriously though cat merc your a math person what is the dmg difference for the lr on the amar assault vs other non amar suits?
because i argue that the amar assault is in a right place because of how well it operates for me using my given amar weapon...so what exactly is the difference in running a lr on amar assault vs non amar,,
because what makes my assault suit for me...is my lr..i dont run scramblers at all i only have this suit for lr..and when the lr is on it its ina perfectly fine place |

When it comes to the SCR, the bonus is great, but it's not worth losing the scout bonuses. Two equipment, complete EWAR dominance (meaning that most scanners can't detect you, and you see all non scout suits through walls for free), faster speed, cloak, smaller hitbox.
All for an extra 6 shots on the SCR before overheat?

nothing will convince me that the amarr scout is better than the amarr asault and i couldmt give 2 ***** about the puny lil other races

I think the Amarr assault is only great compared to other assaults it still needs tweaks in context of what else they do to the class. All Amarr suits are still too slow for the base armor buff it's in exchange for, as an example. It certainly needs less help than the others, no doubt.
As for AScR, it's better than it's reputation, but "amazing" is a bit of an overstatement. The armor/shield tanking meta is what really hurts it. Back when shield tanking was a thing and Caldari medium frames ruled the battle, it was pretty beastly but no longer. The 80% against armor hurts bad.

Oh, and I'm sure Morte already knows the answer to her question, but for everyone else, the Amarr assult bonus gives you 1200 more damage (potential) before overheat compared to other suits.
