You are assuming that the people who are here did not get proto stomped themselves.....we all did. What is left is those who had the patience to persevere through all that.
Don't expect people not to use the gear they have grinded for and earnt, or make the game harder for themselves.
Also we don't have match making so its not like we target you all specifically.

Dude, even without the prototype suits, you dudes will still get your butts handed to you. Because you suck. You go up against higher difficulty to increase skill. You don't get better any other way.
Can I ask you question? What color are the eyes of a prototype? I'm wondering if you're being beaten by protos or are you really getting beaten by advanced suits. |

45mil in skill points versus someone starting out with under 1mil in skill points. MMO's have always answered this absurdly idiotic thing you point out: a great player in decent gear gets good results, a **** poor player with excellent gear gets the same results. If you use an assault militia build and take on someone using a lol~logi build, they may not be able to run as fast as you or even react as fast as you but they can afford to take a crapload more hits and slightly live long enough to finish you off even after unloading their whole Duvolle and resorting to a Magsec for the finishing blow.
Likewise most players don't get better when facing stacked squads with superior experience and fittings. One of the most basic principals when you learn any sport is to stop approaching the game like a pro would. Ever see a tennis player or golfer learning? They don't start out in the same field and same distance as a pro but instead start off in smaller fields and with less restrictions. Dust514 doesn't do this and has no means to create a diminishing cap on learning experience; players who've played longer are in the more advantaged situation to earn skill points and add to that lead versus newer players.
Individuals who think it's "just" the proto or adv suit or apply the moronic logic of it being "skill~based" miss all the basic tenants of learning that life teaches you even: you didn't learn to drive in the Daytonna 500 but you assume applying the same principal of learning with new players battling against the pros will teach them works magically.
I hate ****~poor logic as much as morons that feel the need to white~knight events or their need to feel superior because they can tromp on new players. And for the record, an advanced suit could be more lethal if someone has capped all of their dropsuit upgrade skills versus someone that just allocated their skills to get a proto dropsuit. Ever heard of the big picture? Guess not because you wouldn't have replied with such a weak reply in the first place. |

I can't really read that through the expletives.....
Frankly I could care less what you think.... I'm basically saying I'll go and use whatever I want in whatever game mode I want just as while I am flying around in EVE any pilot is free to drop a T2 Assault Frigate or Pirate Frigate on me with +X years worth of SP.
If I could get fights in FW with stacked teams all the time....and we rarely do as opposition teams are filled with soloists and new players I would stay there all the time..... but to be fair I do also need ISK and PC holds no value for me because its out in Minmatar space.
Pub = My ISK farm
If I am interested in making maximum ISK I'll run my matches in Templar gear, if I want to go in there and just run the gear I like..... I guess I will. I just wish PVE was in the game so I didnt have to deal with Public Matches.

Eh, to just get your name stamped on a random officer variant of the weapon by just proto stomping a few weekends in a row is... dull, but then again I guess there will be a few that'll be remembered for their services as frequent protoers. |

That's why kdr/wpdr matchmaking is so beautiful. The real elites (certainly not me) would still bubble to the top, and all the padding poseurs would get beaten down to the rank that they actually occupy. Really bad example which demonstrates rhe opposite of what you seem to wish to express. You refer to Basic Training, yes TRAINING. You enter with other new people, you are instructed and you are given challenges which you can overcome. This is exactly what new players SHOULD get in DUst. What they get instead is no training but are required to fight a Force Recon squad. You don't get better, you just get killed until you eventually have gear to start killing those newer than you.

The problem is with you proto stompers, it always has been. You ****-tards are the reason no one plays. Bull ******* ****. You run in full proto in pubs!!!!!! honestly you all are ******* ********. "no we not out to squash anyone" Full proto in PUBS is a ******* ***** move. STAY THE **** IN PC AND FW. GTFO of PUBS with you proto pussies. I'll wipe the map with you in STD gear. I got the shite kicked out of me for a long time before I Figured a few things out, sorry, when they announced this game is going to go nowhere I decided to start using the thousands of proto suits I have stocked from running basic in pubs to be nice.
Nice is all gone...
