This is why people constantly make new characters and biomass them when they're done so they can play in the academy.
There is no tier system....and let me tell you, standard / militia gear vs standard / militia gear is fun. Everyone is on about the same level and you don't have to deal with triple hardeners or logi suits with 5 complex damage mods on it or complex armor plates stacked to holy hell
Gear tier modes would be EPIC. Casual players just want to shoot like mindless zombies and have a good time....only the 40 year olds living in mama's basement who are real life failures but super crazy bad asses online need to have triple hardeners and pound you into oblivion so they feel validated.
Me? I like a fair fight. If you win awesome and if I win, awesome.
I don't like slaughtering new players with proto gear and I don't like being slaughtered by people who fit their dropsuits and vehicles as ridiculous as they can to be cheap and slap their d!cks on the "i-win" button.

The problem is with you proto stompers, it always has been. You ****-tards are the reason no one plays. Dude, even without the prototype suits, you dudes will still get your butts handed to you. Because you suck. You go up against higher difficulty to increase skill. You don't get better any other way. Can I ask you question? What color are the eyes of a prototype? I'm wondering if you're being beaten by protos or are you really getting beaten by advanced suits.
even adv suits can fit proto weapons and/or modules... the suit by itself isn't anything to fear.
you are more deadly in an adv suit with proto mods and weapon than a proto suit with adv mods and weapons. |

Worked for me. Ran nothng but starter suits for 2 months because why waste the expensive stuff if i can't make the cheap stuff work. Still suck but i go isk positve every match, even if i go kill negative.
Get good is not an insult, it is a viable suggestion for self improvement. It's hard because it is worth doing & its the hard the makes it good.

Playing with the Orks is the veteran mode baby.
