For the first time since Uprising 1.1, I actually have no real counter-argument against why I shouldn't be running a scout that isn't Minmatar. So, I am saving SP for Proto Cal Scout. Which is 1.5mil SP away. CCP. Please for the love of god, make the Min Scout or Min Assault viable in the PC meta before I sell my soul to FOTM for the first time since I came to Dust. I really don't want to do this, but as I said, I have no real counter-argument to tell my CEO "No, we need me to stay as Min Scout" The only thing it's good for is Hacks. I have no reason to run the suit for anything else, and it's "a waste of my abilities" to try and keep slaying in a Min Scout. PLEASE CCP! I just spent a couple hours trying really hard to enjoy my alt character with like 3.5 mil sunk into Adv Minja, Adv CR, Pro Knife, Pro Damp, Basic Cloak. But it is just so paper thin and I can't get used to it. I'm ALMOST into kin cats and thats probably why I have a hard time knifing but I do get a few glory kills against bad players. What I really hate is on my main character I've used AR forever and the fact that Minja depends so much on CR really is not a good selling point. I'd rather be paper thin and have a 70 meter scan radius with 14.9 dB precision on a Calamari... than be paper thin, undampened, running around with kitchen knives and trying to hack ****... But I REALLY wish they would make the suit viable so I could skill into it on my main character.

I have 5 other roles I can fill already, I've looked through all the other suits and stuff that I can skill into with my SP but nothing compares to the utility of the Minmatar Scout suit, It'll add to possible roles I can switch into in the battlefield I feel. It's too bad the logi bonuses still don't stick when you change suits, it's worthless for me to get as it won't be my primary suit. The Sinwarden of 0uter.Heaven

This is at proto Min scout with Core Upgrades to 5 and Engineering at 4. Way too hard a suit to fit, and most of the time, it was because I was about 2 to 10 over on PG. I haven't run much, but it's "fine" and "alright" until a Galscout comes behind you and shotguns your ass: can't run, he's a fuckign galscout, can't outdance him, he's a galscout, can't outtank him(or even equipment for htat matter), and you can't do really anything right, as you're either Always scanned, Always outtanked, or always blind. My fits varied from 2 pro Precisions, 2 range amps, 1 damp and a shield extender, to 3 extenders, 2 damps and a codebreaker, to 3 kincats, 2 enhanced extenders and an empty slot, and every single one was beaten to the ground by things as low as MLT Frontline suits. Kin Cats need less fitting requirements. They aren't half as powerful as they were when hit detection and auto aim didn't exist. Back when the RDVs took so long to get a vehicle in that you could beat dropships to the compound, Kin Cats were very strong.. Now you can't fit a legitimate tank of any kind if you are fast.
