Come on CCP!
For the first time since Uprising 1.1, I actually have no real counter-argument against why I shouldn't be running a scout that isn't Minmatar.
So, I am saving SP for Proto Cal Scout. Which is 1.5mil SP away.
CCP. Please for the love of god, make the Min Scout or Min Assault viable in the PC meta before I sell my soul to FOTM for the first time since I came to Dust.
I really don't want to do this, but as I said, I have no real counter-argument to tell my CEO "No, we need me to stay as Min Scout"
The only thing it's good for is Hacks. I have no reason to run the suit for anything else, and it's "a waste of my abilities" to try and keep slaying in a Min Scout.

Seriously, the ONLY change that's needed is a 5pg increase, OR a decrease in shield extender/kincat PG, codebreakers are a bit weird too, costing the same as Armor Repairs.

Pretty much the way I've always skilled into things, just went full proto in generous intervals into 4 suits.
Also Ghost, I'm actually thinking of skilling into the Minmatar Scout as my 5th suit lol I'm about the same amount of SP away from it as you are. Musturd has been trying to convince me not to though...

I have ADV Min Sentinel, and I see no reason to go any higher save for passive bonuses and the extra slot.

I feel you man.
I just spent a couple hours trying really hard to enjoy my alt character with like 3.5 mil sunk into Adv Minja, Adv CR, Pro Knife, Pro Damp, Basic Cloak.
But it is just so paper thin and I can't get used to it. I'm ALMOST into kin cats and thats probably why I have a hard time knifing but I do get a few glory kills against bad players.
What I really hate is on my main character I've used AR forever and the fact that Minja depends so much on CR really is not a good selling point.
I'd rather be paper thin and have a 70 meter scan radius with 14.9 dB precision on a Calamari... than be paper thin, undampened, running around with kitchen knives and trying to hack ****...
But I REALLY wish they would make the suit viable so I could skill into it on my main character. |

My Adv Galscout can fit full proto AND an Adv cloak on a Neo Gk.0.
Meanwhile with lv4(5 soon) i can't even fit Nanite/Compact nano on a prototype, let alone full proto.

Everything else has come out fairly balanced and from what I have seen of Rattatis responses in other threads the min scout + all assaults are being looked at.
Obviously I can not speak for anyone but I would say hold off, changes are coming.

Understood. I have 5 other roles I can fill already, I've looked through all the other suits and stuff that I can skill into with my SP but nothing compares to the utility of the Minmatar Scout suit, It'll add to possible roles I can switch into in the battlefield I feel.
It's too bad the logi bonuses still don't stick when you change suits, it's worthless for me to get as it won't be my primary suit.

Dude, I've been running min scout in PC versus some of the best corps in the game.
I've ran this suit proficiently since uprising 1.1, and never once wanted to change out of the suit, because I love the challenge.
However, the challenge is simply not worth the result anymore. I don't WANT to skill out, I'm just tryin to tell CCP how sorry of a state the scout is in compared to the others.
Moody, Musturd, Demon, Iggy, knight, Gavrillo, and myself were all top tier Min Scouts in PC. Very few still run the suit full time on PC, with myself and Gav being the only ones left I can think of.
It's that bad.
I don't want it to be OP, I want it to DO ITS JOB. If they can do that, I'll happily stay as a min scout

Least you have a job... Been messing around with the Amarr scout since they came out and I still don't know what it's job is outside of light assault with a cloak
