It's not entirely pointless. You can still utilize HAVs for on-board spawn systems and Infantry Suppression, not to mention that (albiet not as easy) it's still possible to solo AVers with an HAV.

You didn't but "edguy 111" did and I cited small arms immunity in a sarcastic manner as a trade off being made. Vehicles get to be immune to small arms while being exceptionally vulnerable to AV.

so vehicles are nuisance before they added the team quota it used to be worse. most games I join I see 24 lavs and 13 havs and we all leave the game before it starts and now they complain that they get no money because we leave |

tank spam was never a problem for me. QU is very strong vs vehicles,we can all be proto av in a second. i remember my squad destroying both jp machine and milkman 3-4 time each in a ambush.just alone i got proto swarms,nades,forge,mines/c4 and lv 3 plasma.and if it still dont work jihad jeep and cheap ds to ram ads lol but i understand if peoples dont have a squad it can be a pain in the ass

real AV specialists need tanks to be profitable and worth the risk or your skill points are wasted.

To this day I still don't know what CCP Wolfman was thinking when he decided that these changes would be a good idea as opposed to a 10% AV Weapon damage nerf.
