What's funny, is that other than an HP/s nerf on Armor Repairers, there were no nerfs to vehicles.
This is just the result of proficiency skills actually applying and vehicles not being able to passively rep through damage as if it was nothing. The reason why you don't have a tank to blow, is because people can't spam them with no recourse and Large Turrets are no longer Anti-Infantry.

Which is good, because the Large Blaster was never supposed to be Anti-Infantry.

How did Rail and dmg mod nerf change AV-Vehicle balance?
The only change like Atiim says, PLC buff, AV grenade slight buff, two bugfixes and rep nerf. LB was never supposed to be anti-infantry.

It's not entirely pointless. You can still utilize HAVs for on-board spawn systems and Infantry Suppression, not to mention that (albiet not as easy) it's still possible to solo AVers with an HAV.

If so, then the player using the Sentinel is far more likely to die (averaging about 2-4 deaths), than the player using an HAV (averaging 0-1 deaths).
With that in mind, the end cost of the Sentinel can range from about 3-525k, while the HAV's end cost will range from 0-300k. So in a way, your correct. The Sentinel is higher than 300k.

Except "it" didn't happen again, as all HAVs (and other vehicles) are still completely viable. Arguably more so, due to the 80GJ Railgun and Damage Amplifier nerfs.

To this day I still don't know what CCP Wolfman was thinking when he decided that these changes would be a good idea as opposed to a 10% AV Weapon damage nerf.
