Well since CCP abandoned the game, there's no "vision for the future" that might conflict with short-term community preferences.
So at this point the sentiment on updates is "sure, f*ck it, why not"

Yeah I survived a basic RE I think because my logi found me... they're still deadly but someone has to finish you off after you're hit in proto.

I agree. Wonder how much bigger this game could have been by focusing on tweaking the existing gameplay instead of constantly promising new stuff? Regardless, I'm happy to ride this out into the sunset if they're dedicated to continually improving the small things!

Beers, ops, I mean Chunky, these updates are actually better then the crap they've been putting out with a full team.
Maybe less CCP staff working on a game... the better it is.

It really gives such mixed feelings seeing how badly CCP dumped on us and then seeing how great Rattati is doing. We have seen 2 hotfixes change the face of this game since the start. At this rate i feel like 4-5 more hotfixes and 1 client update could make Dust a seriously viable long term option again.

In CCPs defense he did not have to deal with Sony's **** QA process for these fixes.
Who am I kidding, the level of communication with the community and actually crowd sourcing these fixes has proven to be the real difference and the way things should have been done the whole time. I am glad Rattati showed up and got that ball rolling, if only it had been sooner......

Have to say, at first I was very wary and thought he was just fluff to placate the people sticking around but I promised to judge on what was delivered and so far so good.
Many thought this is how the content should have always been delivered. The main team delivering the big stuff and another group sticking closer to the ground fine tuning those big ticket items for use in the universe.
Keep it up and hopefully many of the concepts flow into the next game.
I wont ever blindly follow CCP but I'll relax one eye on Rattati
