Rattaii has done things we have been begging for CCP to even look at and he has done it in two months. How long have we basically begged for them just to look at swarms vs dropships even putting out videos, detailing the problems and everything. Before Rattaii all we would get is "soon" we might look at it, such as when they "examined" the numbers for 3 months and did nothing.
If Rattaii lived closer I would buy him a bottle of maker's mark just for doing what should have been done so many months ago of trimming the weeds and helping things grow. Under Rattaii Dust is showing the promise it could have been, showing how good it can be even at this stage. I honestly hope (honestly beg) that Rattaii is the leader in Legion when it comes out. Logibro actually had to look into swarms and dropships recently due to conversations had which is just amazing in itself. This would have never happened without Rattaii, so yes as long as hotfixes keep comming out and Rattaii keeps lead I have hope for this game.
The game honestly is 5x better for me currently as the game hardly ever freezes anymore like it did before the hotfixes went into effect, also tanks are being less overpowered, and no longer in regular ambushes which I am very very happy about. So yes, one person has made a difference with his dedication and ability to listen and act upon it. |

Indeed I hope CCP realises these are the small steps that will appease this community.
Let them keep their visions of New Eden in one Dev Team, let another be close to the group, acting as community managers and filtering the good to the long project dev teams and working short term to make small hotfixes.

I like the guy, as far as Devs go.
That says a LOT.
It also says a lot about the ineptitude of the production team that were moved to Legion and how bad that's gonna turn out.
If only he could throw us a new map or rearrange some sockets....

Actually they did alot from the first time I've played last year up until now. Just a thought, maybe they couldn't make "substantial leaps" as you suggested due to the community complaining about everything which also contributed to Dust "losing its way" along the developmental process. From my perspective, that's what I've seen.
