With such high damage and rate of fire. Shouldn't there be a .1 - .2 sec spin up time similar to the rail rifle? Seems like there should be.

To be honest we have no idea how minmatar build things. I mean what they still consider to be bottom of the heap trash pile of eve tech is still leagues beyond ours. The simple fact they're heafting this nearly fighter sized minigun around is rather scary.

If you think heavies are 'useless' you are terrible.
Also, it's perfectly reasonable for a rotary barrel weapon to have a spin-up time mechanically. It being 'gunpowder' has nothing to do with it.

You do release half the guns in this game don't exist? There is no gun that shoots lasers and their are no guns that shoot heated plasma. The only guns that could exist are the rail guns since we have military prototypes of those guns today. Point is the description says unlike earlier models the HMG requires no spool up time.

Heavies are more overpowered than scouts, and require no skill or aiming or really any basic proficiency in an FPS game to use them.
Sure, there are some great heavies out there (no offense to you guys), but the vast majority of the heavy player base lacks any sort of concept of skills or tactics, and rely on their suits superiority to win in most situations.

Well, Valve did a similar thing because they recognized that the HMG in Team Fortress 2 takes barely any skill to operate compared to other weapons, so they forced a spin up time to move the skill from aiming to predicting enemy aggression.

Btw the new scope won't fire the gun till your on target, exacto rounds are guided in flight, and even in the future mass will still have mass, that's what my question was about. To bad a cpm can't even understand it and goes straight to trolling.

Would it make you feel better if we just made it an automatic single-barrel cannon, instead of a rotary as it is now?
Wanting to nerf something for the sole stated reason of realism is also a stupid thing to say.
This is not a simulator, this is a game. If you want the spool-up for balance reasons then that is another thing to say...
