Dear CCP Rattati,
I'm not prone to developing mancrushes, but if I were, you'd be on the shortlist. At first I thought "oh yay, another dev we'll hear from for a week and then once a month at most". It soon became apparent that your responsiveness to the community was more than just the uninformed zeal of the newly appointed.
I don't know if you are actually the architect of the changes we see altering the landscape of DUST; or if you just bring a refreshing transparency to the processes that have been happening all along. But I do know, the changes that have already been instituted in your tenure and the solicitation and incorporation of community feedback on proposed, rather than instituted, changes has made me glad I stuck with this infuriating, frustrating, inspiring, giggle-inducing game when so many others jumped ship.
I will not say "job well done", for it is not yet complete. I will however say, thank you sir, for reminding me why I play this game; the fun I have with DUST brethren I never would have met otherwise, and the hope for what this game could still become.

Dispite all of what happened, CCP Rattati seems to be determined to use what few available resources he has left to make this game as fun and balanced as possible.
Couple that with his insistence on taking feedback from the community, and it's hard not to like and respect him.
Amarrians would prefer you be faithful... I'd rather you be logical.

There is nothing to say negative about the Alpha...
I have often heard people say from my noob alt to this character "I Don't even feel they changed much, or anything"
And that is what you want... And it really has made a massive improvement in pub balance.

This by far one of smoothest updates to date. Did it fix everything? No, but it was definitely a step in the right direction.
