This is why when the game is on the verge of ending, I make sure I terminate as many suits as I can. Even suits other people killed but did not terminate. Most of the time its militia suits anyway, so i do it with a sigh. But there is nothing more fun than terminating a Scout GK.0 seconds before the end of game screen.

If you ran the clock down with each death and died 12 times like some scrubs do, you're looking at 2 whole minutes that could have been spent dying again to the enemy, giving them another kill. Experienced teams who do this properly usually save themselves 20 of their own clones on the field and avoid close matches.

Refusing to respawn to preserve clone count is a valid if somewhat dishonest tactic (if you do it knowing you can't be revived IMO) as is bleeding them out to deplete it quicker and slow down their spawns. Terminating the clone halts the countdown (maybe resets it?), preventing them having a fast spawn if they were waiting for a revive that never came.
