Even then I was left with 175 million or so (where im at currently) all without receiving much at all in terms of passive paychecks.

I don't think that would have been possible though without that chromosome salvage refund... absolutely insane. You used to recieve marauder tanks as salvage back then, fairly often i might add. They gave us like 1.2 million isk each for those iirc. I had like 120 of them when Uprising patched lol.

You aren't supposed to be able to run proto all the time ( only top 10% and paid corpmembers, probly the same guys, can ). One of my fits cost 250k ... never use it except to troll 1-2 a week ( usually while being stomped by officer gear in pubs ) basic is way better than milita and costs about the same while giving you a much better setup. Payout is higher. I run adv gear almost exclusively unless I'm going against a vehicle team then I bust out my proto forge/swarm to scare them off them back to adv gear. While giving away millions I've still saved a couple hundred million. But if I went proto nonstop I would burn though it in a couple months I bet. Lonewolf till I die

If your only paying for milita mods the cassis is still over 400k so your out a couple games. I have to run on the ground a lot to fly. I don't have amazing skills in my ground game but I have enough to get by and some cheap suits. Can't really afford to run proto on a pilots salary

Likewise, even if you are running it 24/7 and loosing more than you make it's still sometime before you loose it all. Math even withstanding I've been at a loss on a weekly basis but still having 40million isk. Loosing roughly 200k a match means I'll eventually run out but it's also realistically saying I might outlast CCP and Dust before I run out of it so there's another incentive to burning it all.

Basically guys - this game could have been a lot better but CCP just tend to do the strangest things....and that is putting it nicely.

I'm consistently at the the top of the leaderboard with positive k/d, running mostly logi, (now not when I was a new, even got res camped 30+ times in a single round my first week, thanks troll ). when this game dies don't blame CCP, blame q-syncing, proto stomping corps. We need a mode where it's impossible, tho all the "good" players would just leave round when it's not fun for them. Lonewolf till I die
