Me, I like my Tank so I use it. Have used it since about 1.2. Same with my Basic Raven suit. 2 Complex Shield Extenders, 2 Basic Plates, Basic (sometimes Advanced Assault) Rail Rifle, Compact Nanohive to heal myself. I have never actually gotten to a Prototype suit. I just never cared for it.
People run it because it makes things easier, not everyone can be bothered to be an militia try hard hero lol.
I run a proto logi with proto equipment and a toxin ar (std ar).

In the long run I make profit spamming proto.

What I hate are scrubbers who face me and crew in mlt but bring out their proto when they are with us vs newbs.
If I could tk them in pubs then I would, I'd help the newbs bash them lol.

I'm consistently at the the top of the leaderboard with positive k/d, running mostly logi, (now not when I was a new, even got res camped 30+ times in a single round my first week, thanks troll  ). when this game dies don't blame CCP, blame q-syncing, proto stomping corps. Its all on CCP.
You can't honestly expect someone to spend a few months to get proto and stuff but never use it just for a bunch of randoms.
And bad players are bad no matter what, if you really think proto is that amazing then you must be bad.
You also stated that you got res camped 30+, really mate.............you allowed that 30 times.
You are aware that in any game, allowing yourself to get res camped that many times is just awful, worst iv heard yet actually since 1996 besides stat padders lol.
