Why do they always go all out in matches?
Due to where I live, I'm always on during the peak hours of many Japanese corps' playing times. I'm consistently pitted against organized squads of S.A.I.U.K.I, Lord British, Nyain San, Eve Corporation, etc., and all of my experiences facing off with any of them are the same.
It's as if these guys know no restraint. Right from the get-go, they're zerg rushing objectives in all-out proto, derpships, and tanks. They never let up or give their opponents any chances to push in. I played a Domination match last night on the bridge map, and my team was immediately redlined by the time we hacked our side's CRU. It was insane.
What made it even more jaw-dropping was that my team could not even fight back from the redline. Any blue attempting to snipe was Thales'ed in the face. Any tank or derpship called in was destroyed even before touching the ground. Any blueberry attempting to make it down the hill was met with concentrated fire.
I experience these type of matches frequently and it amazes me how these players seem to always put in 110%. What's great is when two or more of these Japanese corps face off against each other in a match. They make for one hell of a show. |

The Japanese once practiced kamikaze. These bros have a reputation for going all out, no matter the cost. Americans... we're kind of pushovers. We're all about "resource-management" and "not using our best at first". Which is fine, just make sure you save a final, really big explosive in your pocket for the endgame.

And about going "all out", what are you supposed to do? Hold back?

Losing a pub match would bring dishonor to their families thus they would have to commit hari-kari.
This is why Japanese players almost always use the bitchiest tactics full of tank spam and OP FOTM. This is also why these corps proto stomp ambush 24/7 against entire teams of noobs. There is literally nothing noobs can do against a full squad of proto stompers in ambush.
Thus to always guarantee a victory these Japanese corps will continue to steamrool noobs in ambush while padding their stats and protecting their families honor. Thus will continue until the Dust servers are finally unplugged.

What, do you expect them to group up together like that and then do nothing all match?
The real issue is actual balanced matches... they happen every so often and they show how this game should / could have been. As much as its annoying man, its just how it is and honestly it wont change in DUST514 that's for sure.
If your solo and you want to be a cheap ass.... Make a totally militia fit with a militia forge gun and practice your forge sniping. Swatting protos with a fit that costs like a few k isk at max, is truly gratifying.
Then, if you get bored of that... bust out the old Gastuns Forge gun. THEN you will have some fun for sure. The second you start getting kills with it, the whole enemy team starts trying to bum rush you! (And why wouldn't they, officer weapon kill!)
That can be great fun. |

I'll tell you this. I run PROTO for any match that has objectives. I run MLT or super cheap variants (i.e. maybe swap out a weapon) in Ambush and grind the heck out of it for isk.
IMO, 70% of peoples pub matches played should be ambush with MLT gear.
I'm terrible at FPS but I got much better playing cheap gear even when I could have went proto. Nothing pushes your skills upwards like ambush grinding with low level stuff.
As for those guys stomping. It happens. Even though I run proto I normally camp an objective and wait for people to come to me. It is a trap.
Anyway, keep trying. Focus on ambush with MLT stuff and get better with that and then you'll find that you can stomp them back even with lesser gear.

When Pearl Harbour was attacked 2,403 Americans were killed. When Japan was attacked by U.S Atomic Bombs : killed 90,000GÇô166,000 people in Hiroshima and 60,000GÇô80,000 in Nagasaki; roughly half of the deaths in each city occurred on the first day. During the following months, large numbers died from the effect of burns, radiation sickness, and other injuries, compounded by illness. In both cities, most of the dead were civilians
There is a VERY BIG DIFFERENCE in lives lost.

By the way you spelled "Harbour" I am guessing you are either European or Canadian which tells me most of what our readers need to know.
The way you win a war is by making your opponent no longer able to bear the losses. You kill them until they surrender. This is what is known as total war. Should the US have not tried to win? Go easy? We were fighting for our lives.
As a Canadian or Euro your comments are on par.

Lol won a war......
Considering the British and Common Wealth Forces (inclusive of Australia and New Zealand), French, and smaller occupied Nations spent several years already at war across Europe, Africa, and in Asia.... is suppose credit where credit is due is required.
The America Army came late in the war, fresh, with well developed technology from a war machine that had not suffered under the Blitz.
At full strength another world power joining the allies was logically going to push the balance of power over the edge and Germany committed its strength across too many fronts.
Acting like it was some benevolent action is fallacy. Additionally saying ignorant statements like "America won the war" is down right disrespectful to all those of the other nationalities who gave their lives so that other nations had the peace they did for so long.
Claiming one particular nation was any more crucial than the others is ignorant. Whose ships plied the North Atlantic, whose fighter pilots fought in the Battle of Britain, whose soldiers took Monte Cassino, El Alamein, Cairo?
Having been to the grave-sites all along the Normandy Coastline, Arlington Cemetery, the cemeteries in New Zealand where our fallen lie it is clear to see everyone paid a price for their contribution to the war and it is only because of those contributions of those people that we can be hear today.

Ill give you a constructive suggestion that may help change your server region Oceania.... not a lot of people playing, matches are not always full, but lots of isk to be made Europe... still some proto stomping but matches are usually balanced and competitive. Asia...stay away America.. proto stomping Latinos, but they are beatable, love their tanks automatic.... not recommended scotty will usually fit you in against full squads, you takes your chances and pays your dues
what ever you choose if that isn't working try changing servers it all you can do
