"Americans pushovers"?
Speak for yourself, *****.
We won a war that was thrust upon us once upon a time.

"Legit to win"? It was war!
After what they did they are lucky we didn't drop more and lynch the Emperor.
In dropping those bombs, several million lives were saved on both sides. Learn your history.
And you make these comments the day after our Memorial Day holiday? Be glad I'm not standing in front of you.

And you make these comments the day after our Memorial Day holiday? Be glad I'm not standing in front of you. When Pearl Harbour was attacked 2,403 Americans were killed. When Japan was attacked by U.S Atomic Bombs : killed 90,000GÇô166,000 people in Hiroshima and 60,000GÇô80,000 in Nagasaki; roughly half of the deaths in each city occurred on the first day. During the following months, large numbers died from the effect of burns, radiation sickness, and other injuries, compounded by illness. In both cities, most of the dead were civiliansThere is a VERY BIG DIFFERENCE in lives lost. "Be glad I'm not standing in front of you" You're right I already got free head today.
By the way you spelled "Harbour" I am guessing you are either European or Canadian which tells me most of what our readers need to know.
The way you win a war is by making your opponent no longer able to bear the losses. You kill them until they surrender. This is what is known as total war. Should the US have not tried to win? Go easy? We were fighting for our lives.
As a Canadian or Euro your comments are on par.

Considering the British and Common Wealth Forces (inclusive of Australia and New Zealand), French, and smaller occupied Nations spent several years already at war across Europe, Africa, and in Asia.... is suppose credit where credit is due is required.
The America Army came late in the war, fresh, with well developed technology from a war machine that had not suffered under the Blitz.
At full strength another world power joining the allies was logically going to push the balance of power over the edge and Germany committed its strength across too many fronts.
Acting like it was some benevolent action is fallacy. Additionally saying ignorant statements like "America won the war" is down right disrespectful to all those of the other nationalities who gave their lives so that other nations had the peace they did for so long.
Claiming one particular nation was any more crucial than the others is ignorant. Whose ships plied the North Atlantic, whose fighter pilots fought in the Battle of Britain, whose soldiers took Monte Cassino, El Alamein, Cairo?
Having been to the grave-sites all along the Normandy Coastline, Arlington Cemetery, the cemeteries in New Zealand where our fallen lie it is clear to see everyone paid a price for their contribution to the war and it is only because of those contributions of those people that we can be hear today.
If you want to have a discussion about the European Theatre in WW2 we certainly can.
I am speaking of the war in the Pacific as the spirit of this thread suggests. You are reaching and I'm not sure why.

That is your right.
American's are far from perfect.
But I am proud to be an American.

True Adamance wrote:Jacques Cayton II wrote:Just goes to show you push America to hard and it will bite back 10x harder. After all in Kuwait a company of American tanks took out a battalion of Iraqi tanks. No fighting force on earth can stand to America, not China nor Russia. That is fact, but together they could never alone. I doubt the Iraqi tanks had half the training the American Tank operators had, nor the same technological level of vehicle assets..... The American force have taken as many losses throughout their history as victories. Not trying insult any member of the American armed forces who may be on these forums but historically while America is a huge powerhouse of military might they have rarely ever engaged another entity with the same technological level as they. And even perhaps in "Victory" the campaigns were less than successful in implementation. A great deal of arrogance ruled the American Military hierarchy post WW2 which the soldier suffered for.
I usually respect your posts but not this thread.
You may not be trying to insult any member of US armed forces but I can assure you that you indeed are doing just that.
And since when is trying to survive and win a conflict about "engaging another entity with the same technological level as they."
That is, and I am being polite, an ignorant statement.

Every tribe, clan, city state, kingdom, empire, or nation has always fought with the best technology that they could bring to battle at the time. Part of being a great power is having superior technology. It should be a source of pride.
The United States, as well as every other sovereign that has ever existed, fought to protect it's interests with every bit of ingenuity and tech it could muster. By your argument that is something to be ridiculed and I could not disagree more.
I also run my best gear whenever I can in DUST for the same reasons btw, because one plays the game to win, does he not? Or should I dumb it down so I don't hurt anyone's feelings?
