Literally the one thing that is confirmed so far is that DX 9 will not be supported as it's being developed on DX 11.

DX11 is the only requirement I know of as of this moment; I am hoping they don't pull out a crysis level of requirements.

Can't be as bad as the Microsoft Flight Simulator X requirements. Back then, that sim required far more than even what the recommended specs asked for and even then your computer would beg you to put a bullet through its CPU.

I figured since in one of the other threads here in this part of the forums one of the devs said that they weren't even sure about the requirements yet.

Unreal 3 engine usually has pretty tame requirements by todays standards. All modern gpu`s have been DX11 for a while now so that really should not be too much of a high barrier.
CCP do look to be pushing the UE3 engine pretty far so I am sure it will require a little more oomphh but honestly I dont expect they will be gargantuan minimum specs. |

I think you should ignore anything that states specific make / model to run it. That's ridiculous, PC hardware moves so fast, for a game that is not even a certainty to happen, you cannot possibly know what you need to run it.
The safe bet would be to say a mid-range PC will run it, but there is zero point trying to identify specific mid-range components right now, because in six months time, they will change.
Just have in mind that the budget will be for something around a mid-range PC. It may be less, it may be more, just start saving if you intend to buy something to play it on.
You must learn honor, or you deserve to learn nothing at all.

Ya I'll have to upgrade my PC sometime this year, I'll upgrade it slowly though since we probably won't see Legion for a year or more. ( Hoping for a beta this year though)

Cool. Just bear in mind that CPUs typically change their socket layouts every two years, so depending on timings etc., when you're looking ahead more than a year into the future, you may find that the motherboard you have today may not work with the processor of tomorrow. Upgrade paths with PCs are not always simple like a home cinema system might be for example.
Yeah beta this year would be amazing...I guess it's possible at a pinch with enough devs on the team and a cohesive approach.

I think that after some clear thinking time alot of people who are against Legion have surprisingly started to support Legio such as my self and some others.
I will want to be in this one from beta start till they cut the servers down in 40 years lol.
By then we might be living in the game even more than we already do. (Oculus)
