It may be news, but that doesn't change that alot of Dust's players played because it was on a console, with voice chat, and had a robust skill system that allowed them to play their machinegun preachers however they wanted. Now that Dust's days are numbered (though for how long isn't known yet) in favor of a PC port they are losing alot of the comfort that came with a console game. Believe me, sitting in an office chair for hours on end, not comfortable at all.

Sure, most PCs can now be plugged into TVs but then you have the issue of having to get up off the couch to go tweak the PC if it should ever have a problem, which can be often depending on the age of the PC and the length of time between maintenance reformats (my tech friend told me once that if you don't reformat a PC every couple years you're doing it more harm than good). Heck, most PC users don't even reformat if something goes wrong, much less doing it as a matter of basic care.

look Im not hear to troll so please it hurts to hear you react so negatively, I am here to help you guys out, with a set up like this your PC will be allot like a PS4 so I dont understand whats the problem with buying a PC instead ? :(

we just dont want to , pc games are full of hackers and cheaters, pc's need third party software to work and its just to much of a hassle we dont want to deal with

Obsolete faster since some PC devs go full hog on the shiny things and not the things that matter
The prevalence of cheating PC players compared to cheating console players especially in the FPS genre
Your self righteous attitude acting like you are doing people a favor by condescending to them by saying "look its so easy even console monkeys can do it"

And Im saying all this as a person thats been PC gaming since the 90s, the platform has its benefits and great games but also has plenty of devs who dont know what the hell they are doing and I think CCP falls into that category so acting like a simple platform switch will make everything better is naive at best

You speak for everyone do you? All console players want to live in ignorance as you do? I find that hard to believe.

Speaking for myself I have a reasonably decent gaming laptop (Asus G53SX) but I'm not sure how well it's going to be able to handle Eve: Legion. We don't have any specs yet. Further, I like to take my PC games on the go so a gaming rig isn't something I feel like lugging around. So I'm left with few options that are cheap should the minimum specs be too high for my laptop. And that's the problem people have with making a gaming rig. How good should it be? Can we build it to PS4 specs or should we aim higher? How high should we aim? How expensive is that going to be? We just don't know yet. And unlike some people, many of us don't have unlimited familial coffers from which to draw.

$566.16 USD for a gaming PC is a great build and perfectly shows how PC gaming is easily attainable. My Acer laptop was about $400 CAN when I picked it up a couple of years ago, and it still runs EVE. Graphically there will be options to tweak for the upcoming Legion, and players need to remember that.

I believe so.

Though it is possible to access the forums from the PS3. However to do so you'd need to stomach the garbage known as the PS3 Web Browser.

considering most games on PC now come WITH anti cheat software installed as part of the package then the amount of cheaters you get on PC these days on popular games like even COD are about the same as on consoles

I don't believe in "converting" anyone to PC, and I respect everyone's platform choices.

What I believe is that we need the development of a solid game before it's launched to a console. Watching the "DUST 514: Graphics" keynote you can see that the level of development is setting a high bar. They want to create a scalable design that could be ported to a console, but initial design in a PC would be more beneficial to them. When they have things nailed down, that's the time to talk migration.
