Yes, Kane will probably give you districts for helping him, but then once this war is done, DNS will be the last remaining power in the game, he will just take them back. With all my dealing with Kane in the past I have found him to be a deceitful manipulative person who is only out for himself.
I'm sure you are thinking the same could be said of AE. But AE is generally bored of the game and I don't believe they have any interest in controlling all of Molden Heath any longer. Kane on the other hand has his minion corp Heaven's Lost Property gobbling up all the players they can, stealing them from other corps, by paying them ISK, and regular paychecks. With his bottomless pockets he can afford to this indefinitely.
This message is for all the corps that have been messaging me wanting to fight and I have said the time isn't right. I've been saying that we had to wait for the right moment to attack. Well guys, this is it. It's time to attack DNS. With Corps like AE, Nyain, DDB, all fighting against DNS, now is the time to fight!!
Kain cares about the community only as long as it makes him look pretty.

Also, AE used to give out land a lot before this district locking crap and 100% plan happened.
The only person in AE who ever wanted to own 100% was Appia who was kicked out and is now in your corp ironically lol. Other than Appia, none of us wanted 100% and always disagreed with Appia heavily on it. |

I agree, by controlling 100% you achieve nothing, but excluding one of the more competitive aspects of the game to the rest of the playerbase.

Don't end your Dust career like this. The same goes for all the other players preparing for war against DNS. Unless, we lose 50 of our best tomorrow, there is no chance. Even so, there would be 50 more A team players to replace them. If you really knew just how deep our roster is, how STACKED, I think you would re-consider. "If you can't beat em' join em." Right now the best 16 fielded corp on any given night is OH. They will spank any one corp. They own Skirmish.
2nd is FA. They bring slayers StrongBad style.

Anyone see Kane in a match? DNS Black? he couldn't find Molden Heath if he tried, or the exit from his basement.
Who are the 50 A team killer Kane and Company can bring if not OH or FA?
Anyone take a look at the leader boards lately? Any of Kane's goons there?
Seriously name some.
The old school top beta players are stuck in a time capsule. The PC teams have their SP and their suits now. There is a lot of talent out there that the "vets" will get squashed by. Strut some more Burns...you gonna get burned by players you have never seen in a game, because all you guys do is count isk anymore. |

I really had grown to respect you over the last couple of weeks Burns, but man, I really thought you were smarter than this. C'mon dude. Quit fooling yourself. Your roster is not that deep and you lack A players. To be honest, there are not that many A players left in the game.
I will make the same suggestion to you, "If you can't beat'em, join'em". Just hit me up in game. You know how to reach me.

So, so much truth in this post. The guys they were beating up on before who only had 10 million or so SP are up to 30-40 million now. New ballgame on the battlefield. Entirely new to some that don't play anymore.

At the end of the day its just a game, and for two years now its become much more than that for me, ive dedicated probably thousands of hours into DUST. More than any other game ive ever been remotely close to and that is saying a lot when most of my life has been centered around video games as I had a hard childhood and I distrust the filth that live here in south Louisiana. And ive been around since closed beta and only recently decided to come out and speak my mind about current events..
I stopped playing all but PC after fan fest and because I had extra time in my life instead of taking care of my dying grandfather and playing dust, I finally fixed my car that's been broke for a month. Got a new job I've been putting off, and signed back up for college next year.
Just to come back a week later to see all the districts that should have been given back to the community for a new generation of players like us to grow up into A teamers and thrive, just to see them STILL in the hands of the same damn corps that had them for the last 4 goddamn months before. And ERA IS STILL TRYING TO GET MORE.
Why? What's the freiken point

Yes, because it couldn't possibly be because SoTa decided it would be cool to have an Anime corp. or the fact that he wants to allow more people to train to the "PC Ready" status.
It's obviously a minion corp used to gobble up the opposition.

No chance huh. We flipped a district two days ago from DNS and we also helped OH defend. On the night we went 2-1 against DNS. So yes community rise up for OH and DL have shown you it can be done.

Well you found a way around DNS. Congratulations. Way to pull together. I didn't expect you guys to make it this far. However, it's a shame that no one can actually defeat what most would refer to as: "The bad guys". The reality is that everyone will return to PC and be happy for a few weeks to a few months, at most...and then, the same thing will happen again. Unfortunately, the problem is the same people who pulled together to get rid off DNS. Which again, good job and well played, but most of you will help build the next "Donut". This whole taking over MH thing has happened several times in the past and will continue to happen over and over again and this is why...
As of right now, districts are being let go/ sold. In the next few days, the leaders of ERA/TP/etc. will make billions more. Some of their isk will come from selling districts while more will come from ringing over the next few months. How do you think Kain has gotten this far and powerful? It's because their is such a high demand for vengeance/protection. These smaller corps will have fun playing in PC and inheret a few of their own districts, then some better corp will attack them and they will lose their district. Now, they will either shake their enemies hand or...let's be realistic, they will be mad and want their own district again. Because if they don't own a district and participate in PC, then that kinda brings boredom to the game and defeats the purpose of what you guys pulled together and accomplished. So, the WILL hire guys like TP/Kain ringers in general. This is the never ending cycle in which no one can defeat.
Now, there are a few things going in the communities' favor atm. One of which would be the fact that alot of the "Vets" have left the game, leveling the playing-field a bit. But, not to the point where we can expect to see a balance in PC. I'm sorry if alot of you guys hated Kain and DNS, but the only person you should blame is yourselves. In fact, you made a move, so desperate for PC, that you have given Kain more wealth and power. As someone stated in one of the comments above, " In order to kill the beast, you must cut off it's head" and unfortunately, no one can touch Kain through Dust. It would have been a more productive move if you had made coordinated attacks, where both sides showed up with full teams. You then could have costed Kain/ERA alot of isk and proved that you were the better team. What happened this morning was just funny, with both sides struggling to field 30 PC matches at 8am.
Anyway, in conclusion...I am not taking any sides on this matter, rather focusing on the real problem with big alliance's and PC inequality. I was excited about facing AE and others, but the hate towards Kain, exceeded the desire for great PC matches and what everyone saw this morning, was the product of that hatred. Bottom Line-if you are a small corp/player, your going to have to get over the whole, "Big Alliances ruining PC" thing, because it is always going to happen. So in the mean-time, enjoy PC while it lasts and some advice, join a big alliance or retire from Dust. These are the only two options. I give this time of peace.... .....maybe 5 weeks before they come knocking on your door again. o7
