Take into consideration that we already sometimes playing with people that just started playing game, and we have that 2yrs advantage over them. Beside CCP Z on character progression was talking something about 'total meta', in future when you will use fancy weapons, and staff all of it will have some meta points, and cumulation of that meta points will depend on with matches you will play - so there is probability that after transfer we will not fight with new PC players but with others people that transferred from PS3. The future is not yet scheduled, PC can coexist with PS3 player base, we can fight in different regions, have different game modes.. potential is endless PS Have hope

MAG had a custom built engine to handle that. I played a lot of MAG back in the day, Zipper did an incredible job with it. MAG died though... for a reason. A lot of it had to do with a lack of content. They had to cheat a lot to get those maps to handle so many players and couldn't build more of them very easily. No matter what you wanna say, this isn't Zipper. They can't make more than 32 player matches work on the PS3.. no matter who actually did or could. High sec meta restricted matches and low sec unrestricted matches. Its easy and it makes sense. Gets newbies into the game easily and then gives them a reason to keep grinding. Gullible? Sure... if it makes you feel better. I'm happily drinking the CCP Koolaid and its mighty tasty.

They stated they want Legion to be more gear based than skill based, which IMO means that SP won't matter quite as much, it will just allow you to unlock more things, but you can't make yourself much more powerful. This makes it easier for new players to stand against old players, they just won't have as many customization options. This works better for an FPS anyway. So assuming Legion is balanced in such a way then transferring SP and BPOs (which all suits will be anyway) won't make a huge difference other than save time. I don't think they should transfer any ISK though if they want to have an in game economy.

Bullshit, a week old player can be a hero tackler in a fleet and be showered with ISK for his hero deeds.

And you obviously didn't watch the Progression presentation where they talked about their primary design goal being making a flatter playing field for Dust with more horizontal progression and less vertical. With such a system, our large quantities of SP would just mean we could do more things, not be able to do them better. Another thing to consider is that all of the money we've made could make for some good seed money to kick start the player market. At first I thought letting us keep our ISK would just be stupid, but then I realized they want to open up the economies with each other, so our ISK is like....a drop in the bucket if they do that lol.

Welp there are players in EVE 10 Years head of me who put in the time and effort to play the game. I put in 18 Months of effort and gameplay time....Yes I do think they will let me be X value be it months, SP, etc ahead of other players because I put the ******* effort in. It's the bloody least they could do. You guys keep using your own logic to see a reaon why they would do this. You keep ignoring the fact that CCP THEMSELVES are using very vague language in order to NOT MAKE A SINGLE PROMISE about transfer. They are doing the exact opposite: "we will try to transfer over applicable skills and items" You know what this means? It is a comment that says exactly nothing. Especially when they follow it up with: "the skill progression and items will be very different" It is PR speak to make the playerbase STFU. Its very clearly not good PR speak then because we haven't STFU have we? Basically nothing is set in stone, anything you say regarding the matter is subject to change and pure speculation......consequently anything I say is also speculation..... discussion regarding this is pointless. Still Dust vets better get some kind of compensation for the months of beta testing we did for CCP. It is working, that combined with Michael whatever his name is and the rest of the CCP white knighters, the forums are not even 50% filled with the bile and vitriol that they were over the weekend. You can even see that some people, such as yourself, have started posting again based upon the allusion to the hint of a promise. I will wait until something is set in stone, and at that point I will be apprehensive because CCP has a track record of BALD FACE LYING. Ok, if they left, why haven't you? If you feel that CCP is doing Satan's work, then why haven't you left yet?
