1. They still go through their own QA and Sony has made their QA a lot more lenient then they used to be
2. Test servers are good I can admit that
3. Putting glitter on a piece of shit doesn't make the piece of shit any better (This is about the graphics)
4. Hardware? It just means that CCP will be even more lazy with optimizations then they were on consoles making the game inaccessible to people with lower quality pcs which cuts out a big part of the playerbase. This will also not fix the many many bugs that hurt this game a lot.

And this makes me happy. Dust has been dead. PC is where Dust should have been, and the only place where it can flourish. Legion, sounds to me, like what Dust was originally supposed to be, before the PS3 and the console crowd forced a lobby shooter.

PCs, on the other hand, handle better with this kind of thing. Think of it this way, if they make the game on PC now, it'll be much easier to port to PS4 then from PS3 to PS4.

They are not abandoning the players, not completely. As mentioned (repeatedly) we are getting something for our time, effort and money spent on Dust - just how that everything like SP and items translates over into a different game remains to be seen, plus Sony could throw a spanner in the works with any stuff tied to PSN accounts. And the 'Bait and switch' was to not ruin the reveal in the schedule - if people had seen "EVE FPS Keynote" or "EVE Legion Reveal" rather than "Dust 514 Keynote" I think we would have known something was up.

The only way you fix it is by starting over. Take what you have, have another shot. I am not surprised the PS3 is cut out. They always said the game will outlive the PS3. I am surprised they don't have many details regarding how, or if, transfers will work. They should have figured that out first before making the announcement. But, this isn't a shock, really. When I think about it, it makes sense. Dust as it stands, wasn't going anywhere.
