Also, if so necessary, they may ask for compensation for their time wasted in this same game, which for many is well over 1000 manhours. So anyone with me on attempting to take on these Icelandic pieces of ****?

The fact the game was sold on a 'future vision' that has been yanked out from under it, the fact it'll be lucky to have 300 players in a weeks time and the fact the money from your AUR purchases is going to fund a new game are insulting to you as a customer, but its poor business and bad customer service, its not illegal.

The difference is the shareholders in here are those who purchase in game items such as boosters and other things. Just like when buying stocks, there's no option which says you have to or are forced. Same goes for Dust. However, people willingly invested in this game based upon CCP's roadmap and projections of Dust for the future, especially within the last month. Just like with a corporation, people take a look at management and earnings reports, and company futures, and decide whether they want to invest. Basically what CCP did here is identical to what we saw with Enron, except on a much smaller scale. They told the investors one thing, and did the exact opposite. They provided false projections of the game's future. To make the analogy more clear, just like Enron reported and told investors they were receiving record profits while hiding losses in offshore accounts, CCP did the same thing with Dust development. Instead of telling the player base of the plans to implement everything that we wanted into Dust 514, such as a player market, PvE, and a better interface but those things were not doable on the PS3 (which the majority of people in here already widely accepted), they gave a false overlay of their plans. This wouldn't have even been so bad, but this whole time, even while they encouraged people to buy boosters and stack SP these last two months, they were fully working on Legion already. Now what do you call that? I call it blatant lies. You told the player base one thing and did another. And just like Enron when they told people to buy stocks due to falsely inflated profit margins from hiding losses offshore, you actively ENCOURAGED people to invest in Dust even though this was the end of it and people's characters would immediately become useless. Now a very angry and Bitter Vet. CCP, you have further solidified my views that corporations are corrupt POS's.

When it comes to time compensation, this would be a little more difficult in this scenario as the courts would view this as something which was not mandatory and an activity of enjoyment. It's not like it would be someone suing for something that was essential, such as insurance or banking which did not adhere to contracts. Yep, had that happen awhile ago from our bank with overdraft charges (which we actually never had). They charged exorbitant fees to account holders and then got sued. But CCP does need to realize that the longer they keep quiet about whats gonna happen with Dust 514 the MORE people are gonna get pissed off and want to sue them for misleading them. They need to make a response and tell everyone whether or not Dust 514 has a future or not. Other wise people are going to start filing massive amounts of paperwork.
